Anyone had a LLETZ procedure to remove abnormal cervical cells?

I need to have the LLETZ or wire loop procedure to remove some abnormal cervical cells and online articles seem to suggest a four week post-op sex ban. A small percentage of people have pain during sex for up to a year or even lasting nerve damage.
Has anyone on here had the procedure, and can you advise how long it took you to recover, and whether you had any lasting issues?

I have had this procedure done twice now. I finally received the 'All clear' two months ago.

The procedure itself, I found very uncomfortable. I took 3 weeks off escorting. Very little discomfort after procedure. The second time, I was back working with in one week. I recovered very quickly but was very cautious after the first sitting. Both times I did have a lot of brown/red discharge and my cervix was tender.
