I've found an agency I really like the sound of from speaking to them last night. 24Heaven-Escorts anyone heard anything?

They're new, their site looks good and they don't have an endless list of girls on their site so I'm thinking this would work in my favour as there's less competition for bookings.

Am I right or are there any advantages, I don't see, to joining one of the bigger ones?

Why not join one big and one small, and compare? Personal experience: I was with one agency which only had 5 other girls and I didn't get a single booking in 4 months, so I left- they guy running it hadn't approached it in a very business-y manner; it ended up more like hobby that had become a failed project, and was a complete waste of time. He got trapped in a vicious cycle of not getting bookings for the girls so not being able to advertise and so getting even less business in for the girls- not to say this will always be the case, as this 24 heaven agency may have a bit of dosh behind them and actually run themselves properly. Also, my small agency was London based, which is pretty impossible to penetrate as a new agency without money behind you!

I guess it doesn't hurt to go on someone's books to test it out, so you should at least try these 24 heaven guys out- but the small vs big agency aspect is something to bear in mind.

Definitely hire 2 agents. You always need backup! Beware of new ones, regardless of size, especially in this economic climate.  Everybody seems to think this is easy money, and half of them will be gone in a year.  Big agencies often are not as big as they seem because a lot of them put up fake profiles to make it seem like they have more girls. 

I don't think you can really lose out by trying more than one agency. In fact, I agree with the above posters that it's *much* better to have a bit of choice - as an escort, you don't really want to be relying 100% on someone else. (I guess that's why the 'Independant' thing is rather popular!) And trial-and-error is pretty much the only way to find yourself an agency that really suits you.

I think you know already not to give money without bookings or do 'trials' with some agency-running dude so it looks like you're knowledgeable and can safely investigate an agency or two that takes your fancy. Maybe make them aware that you are testing them out before committing 100%? (*Don't know if that's actually good advice, mind!*) ...I only mention it because the escort agencies that have been around for ages do seem to have a bit of an attitude, like you should be grateful that they'll take you on. Which is rubbish, because you're employing them! Grr. Just makes me cross. I am part-indie, part-agency at the moment (mostly indie) and my agency seems to find it gleefully amusing to wait until I've decided to have a night off and see friends or family, and then send me half a dozen texts asking if I'm available "now for booking in Wimbledon". Erm, no, I am not. They're useless, really, although they have lots of girls, do lots of advertising and make lots of profit for the owner. But they never seem to spend half a minute wondering what I might prefer regarding booking locations/times etc.

Or maybe I'm just a whiny cow!

How new would be considered too new?  They've been running a few months and seem really on the ball.  Sometimes new can be good, maybe a fresh new site can be a good thing?

I would say that anything less than a year old is too new, IMHO, with 5 or more years being preferred. However, as you say everyone starts somewhere.  Definitely hire at least two  Most are going to tell you nice things when you start out; they wouldn't be in business otherwise. It just all depends on whether they actually deliver. 

Beware of the cyber pimp!  Your agency may have a hell of an internet presence, but if they never answer their phone this is no good.  The top googled agency in my area almost never answers their phone, and if they do there's never anyone available!  Some agents go AWOL once they've made all the money they need for the week, and that's not a lot of calls when you think about it; most only need 10 or 20 tops in order to make a living wage.
