Telling a client you're new
« on: 01 April 2016, 10:42:25 am »
Hi again everyone, thanks so much for the help with my other questions.

So I'm completely new, and just got one client who's interested and wants to meet this weekend. How do I tell him that I'm new to escorting, and that he's my first client? My gut instinct is to simply say, "You're my first client!"

Also is this a good reply email?

"Hi Client,

No worries, I'm happy to clarify, and thanks for asking. Etc.etc.etc.

I would also like to congratulate you on being my first client!

What I need from you to proceed is your full name, phone number, address, and perhaps a photo of you with your ID to verify your identity. This is for your safety and mine. :) If you are staying at a hotel, I need confirmation of your booking. If not, then I can make a booking and add the cost to the appointment. I prefer cash at the beginning of each appointment before starting.

When would you like to meet this weekend? I'm free...etc.etc.etc. If you'd like to book more than one hour (or half hour), just let me know, that's not a problem. :)

I look forward to playing with you!

Best,
James"

I'd highly recommend not doing so.

Not much to be gained from saying that you are new. And they may take advantage of you.

If at the end of the booking that went well you want to tell them, then that's OK.

OK that makes sense. I wasn't sure, since if I'm potentially awkward at the session, then that would be why, and they'd have no context. But I guess it's better for it to potentially be awkward than have them potentially take advantage of me.

Is the rest of the email OK?

The main thing I want is verification of identity. If they give me a picture with their ID, then I don't have to do any more screening really. I don't think a lot of people require it, but I've heard some people suggest it. I'm just going off of what I've read though--anyone else?

What they said, plus I can't see why you would want a photo of them? Asking for ID when you arrive is something people have done, but if it isn't them in the picture it'll be obvious when you get there and I can't see how there's any advantages that will make up for the number of punters this will put off?

I'd drop 'playing' too. You're not taking a ball to the park, and words people associate with things children do are probably best left alone :).

Screening is nothing to do with knowing somebody's identity and everything to do with establishing firstly that they are where they claim to be to avoid a wild goose chase, and that they're going to be a pleasant and respectful client who won't cause you problems. Try typing 'screening' into the Search box and there's lots of tips :).

Ah OK, duh, that makes sense. So I'll just ask them to optionally provide a normal photograph of themselves. And thanks for checking the wording I'll take 'playing' out now. :)

Gotcha, that makes things more clear said like that. Thank you!

Yes the details I ask for are to make sure they are there. A photo of themselves proves nothing. Yes you may be nervous, but it leaves you open and vulnerable to newbie hunters.

And how will you know it is actually them in the photo or the i.d is real? They could send a pic of anyone or of a mates i.d.Booking an escort is about discretion on both parts. How would you feel if they asked you for your i.d to prove you are real? You wouldn't do it and I doubt they would either.I really wouldn't say you are new, you will get guys who will try and take advantage of this.

Instead of saying you prefer cash at the beginning, I would say it is "strictly cash on arrival"

They will run a mile if you ask for id. Most will be married or have something to hide. The majority will give you a false name, live in a different town and text or call using a pay as you go sim card.

I also would not be inclined to offer to book a hotel for him unless you are going to use it for other incalls. He may not show up and you will be left with a hotel bill to pay.If he is serious he will most likely book somewhere if you only offer outcalls.

Ah that's true, I didn't think of that. -_- So glad this forum exists.
