Tantric
« on: 06 March 2015, 08:33:23 pm »
Hello... hope you're all having a good evening!! Just wanted to ask a quick question about the specific meaning of the word Tantric please from those ladies (and gents!) that know more about it than me.

My enjoys list on both my personal website and my Adultwork site includes a tick for "Tantric". I have ticked this option because although I don't know much about Tantric sex, I would love to try it and would be very open to doing it!!

However I've just had a prospective client complain that I don't offer Tantric massage. He says that ticking this option means that you offer Tantric massage specifically.

Is this correct? The tickable option on both websites is only for "Tantric" not for "Tantric Massage" or "Tantric Sex". Is it disingenuous of me to have this listed as an "enjoy" if I don't offer Tantric massage?

Many many thanks if anyone can help.

Hadley x  :)

I would imagine no guy is going to come along to teach you tantric, but this other guy sounds a bit of a twat for going on like that

I have strap on ticked, I don't own one but if a client wants to bring it I'm happy to use it, so from my perspective thats absolutely fine you've ticked it as the list is stating what you will do, not what you can

Many would disagree though but really it's YOUR decision, there is no right or wrong, just different opinions

I'd say there is a difference between strap-on play and tantric sex, considering tantra is a set of practices that definitely take more than just one session to learn. Using strap-ons is, shall I say, a bit more intuitive. So yeah, in case of skills that take a while to get genuinely good at, like various niche types of massages, I'd personally not tick it until I actually learned at least the basics.

Very good point, yes I agree with this

It's a difficult one to explain ... It boarders spiritual ( intense use of feelings and being completely in the now/ moment ) it's pretty much like worshiping the body... Like I say it's hard to explain it and it takes lots and lots of practice to be attuned to this.

I'm a very un-spiritual, atheist, science graduate eg I enjoy yoga for the physical workout and completely zone out almost everything my yoga instructor says while respecting that she and a lot of the rest of the class experience yoga as something spiritual, I enjoy it just as much as them without that. Tantra is like that for me. I did a course in it and studied youtube videos, read about it and found the whole lot to be a bunch of pseudo-mystical mumbo jumbo.

But I still offer it. When clients ask for it, I play some yoga class type music like thievery corporation or whatever, light some candles, throw a sari over the massage table and make a little speech at the beginning that I make up on the spot. something very similar to what Velor said. Then I give them a very slow, sexy massage and a hand job. I've had clients say it was the best tantric massage ever and wasn't it amazing how "in touch with each others spiritual auras we were and blah blah blah."

So it's possible to offer it and do it very well while experiencing it as nothing more than marketing claptrap. If the client is expecting tantra and wants to experience tantra and you give them something that looks like you are too, that's what they'll experience.

I had a client give me a tantric massage once (messaged a few weeks later asking what discount he got because I got a massage with the booking!) I found it really boring and didn't see the point of it at all. He seemed to think it would turn me on to no end... I just couldn't stop thinking 'I don't get it!'

I did tantric massage for a bit, actually yes one doesn't have to do tantric massage to have tantric sex, but most places that say they do tantric stuff usually mean massage with a happy ending, but slow motion, a bit more "spiritual" and "sensual". Like people have said, true tantric sex involves deep understanding of each other, not an escort type of encounter.
So the easiest way to achieve anything anywhere near like tantric is via antic massage! Just lots of "body worship", oil, fake noises, rubbing yourself against him and all that good stuff! Like teasing and shit and waiting till last moment for them to come.  ;D

Oh lol a strap on, it was so hard for me to do it! One guy brought it with him and he was a bum virgin lol, we kept trying and trying and it just won't go in and then my knee slipped and I literally fell on him and accidentally pushed it in really hard! And he let out this blood curling scream, thanked me profusely and left. :o :o :o
I un ticked the strap on thingie after that incident  :-[, as Im obviously not very good at it.

But with regard to original question, I doubt many guys genuinely know what real tantric sex etc is all about. Probably by Tantric massage he meant sensual massage with happy ending.

I have had some client performing some odd tantric ritual on me once, which I found quite funny at times, but mostly really boring...

Thats why I use a condomed finger or dildo instead of a strap on, which is thicked on my profile. I wouldnt want to hurt a guy and using a strap on means for me that I cant tell how deep I go or if I hurt the guy so a strap on its a no from me.

Returning to the tantric,  I have that thicked as well and as Aussie said, few times when clients asked for one I just did a sensual creamy massage followed by oral etc and they declared happy with that :)
