Seriously though if you mean when you meet them, then not a lot tends to be said usually the normal stuff like did you have to come far? what line of work are you in?  Crap weather for the time of year etc. I try and establish what they like before the meeting via email or on the phone so not much to say at the meeting.

Depends on the client. Sometimes not much talk,  Usual stuff is " are you from here? " " I was in Italy last month, do you plan any holidays this year " - this one is actually good as it's leading to the topic of work, travel destinations, holidays, weather, sunburn, flight ticket prices, cultural differences and so on.  I usually go with a bit of my story and then ask them back so they have the feeling to keep the conversation going... that's for example in the meantime, when doing massage between 1 happy ending and other..
