I briefly tried doing ow but lost lots of bookings

The key word there is 'briefly', and you also don't say how you marketed it.

When I've had some dinner that isn't half a tub of Celebrations I'll find a relevant thread to merge this with, since despite the actual thread topic being the most braincrushingly boring one in the universe, that isn't a reason to derail it :).

I stopped offering ow and I was worried to start but after catching something I decided to stock with it. Stated on my profile. Lost a few but gained new clients and not made a difference and I've not charged less, Actually wish I'd done it sooner. I feel peace of mind now and protecting myself. It's important to do escorting on your own terms. If clients like your profile they won't be put off by ow.

Well Amy, your a very lucky bunny! Because " everyone" for the last 2.5 weeks has asked me for this service despite me stating this on my profile in three places.  >:(  Then when I say I dont ( politely ) they then get pissy with me and make it seem like I'm the only girl who doesn't offer these services when I know for a fact that other women like yourself do the same. Might be time of month, location or because I'm new....Only time will tell!
I never have and never will offer these services and have done just fine.
A lot of my clients are reassured by my focus on safety without compromising on service.
Stick to your guns and you will begin to get the type of clients you want.

And merged again - the one I found is Miss Elvira's thread referenced here:

so hopefully the post will be helpful (and not get buried/missed on the other thread) :)

When I started in this job many moons ago OWO was a speciality which they were lucky to get and for which they had to pay a premium. I've stuck with that philosophy and it's never done me any harm. Yes, clients will ask but you can can easily say no. It's not the end of the world for them to have covered oral despite some of the whining noises some of them may make  :) I think it's a case of tweaking your marketing to the type of booking you want.

Yes many things were classed as a speciality, owo, dfk, fingering being a few. But as the competition became more fierce and more SW's offered these services it became seen as the norm to expect.
We need to pull back from this and only offer the services we feel comfortable with.
Of course there will be protest, many hate change but they just need to get used to a new normal, as Boris would say  ;D
We need to lead and they will eventually follow. We have to claim our bodies back and stick to our guns.

Exactly Fallen Angel, I couldn't do this job if I felt pressured into services I don't like. It's all about taking back control to use another Bozo phrase  ;D

I personally don't think you need to lower your price just because you don't offer owo. Majority of my clients don't know what they want, when I ask them if they want owo or ow. So for the confused guys I just do ow. If they specifically ask for owo then OK, but they honestly don't care I've noticed.

I thought I'd need to lower my prices but glad I didn't, OWO alone is not a main factor in attracting clients its also your profile that will peak interest and a client, Unless they only want owo, Will book you for the whole experience. I offer Gfe and its a popular service and clients still enjoy a BJ covered i just had to get use to it myself and now confident doing oral covered, Also I state when they contact me that it's OW to save any confusion. I did catch a nasty STI and that really scared me and I didn't want to quit escorting. I did get some moans like I "now offered limited services" to which I told them " No i offer safe sex services and nothing is limited except the limited possibility of catching a STI". My health is important and I just didn't want to take a chance after having a very uncomfortable and first experience with gonorrhoea. But that's my choice and I did owo for ages without catching anything. Have no complaints from the clients I see with OW and have new regulars so I'm happy for making the switch but I had a big incentive to stick to it this time. Did try OW after a guy unknown to me used numbing cream on his penis and my whole mouth and tongue went numb and freaked me out.

Hahaha I had to laugh, I've been polishing off full boxes of Cadbury Roses every single night. My local corner shop has started stocking Mini eggs and creme eggs, it's great!

There's clients for everyone I would say. Owo or not. Some offer even less than that and still get clients.

Before I joined here, just going from my massage parlour experience, I thought OWO was basically standard for younger ladies

Years ago there was no problem with clients always expecting owo or dfk as far less did it. I do think a lot do want it and expect it now but i think if you market yourself by shouting about you don't offer it then you can attract a different market that maybe don't want to risk catching STI's.

What i am interested to know is how many do not offer any kissing or owo? Because a lot try to make up for not offering owo by doing kissing as a girlfriend experience but i do not know of many that do not offer at least one of those services.

Your post earlier wasn't unclear, but the above one is; I don't know which parts are quotes or what the emboldened bits are from but I'll try :)

When are they asking? If it's on the phone/text then it means they haven't read your ad (so you can just direct them back there) and if it's in the room then likewise but maybe wind up your call with something like 'and is there anything you'd like to ask about or check that wasn't covered by my ad?' (they virtually always say no IME, which means they have to admit they didn't read it properly in the event something they want isn't on offer).

Before I joined here, just going from my massage parlour experience, I thought OWO was basically standard for younger ladies

I don't think it's related to age so much as being new - I did OWO when I first started not because I particularly wanted to, but because it honestly never occurred to me that somebody would put on a condom for a blow job. As soon as I realised that it was perfectly normal to do so in order to protect yourself, I stopped and did exactly that (and I found a lot of punters had no idea they could catch STIs from OWO at the time too, although I'd hope people are more clued up these days I suspect not).

It's also possible that younger women are easier to bully and manipulate into offering services they'd rather not. I hope that isn't true (and I certainly wasn't), but it may well come into it.
