Success rate on incall days?
« on: 23 June 2013, 04:23:15 pm »
Hi ladies, I've been planning my first ever incall days for the 24th and 25th for ages now. In a bit of a tizzy because had originally booked with a hotel but in a mess with not knowing my pin number, not being able to find my passport for id ect so had to change accommodation quickly today, the day before I'm due, waiting for a reply on a self catering apartment that was ?50 more expensive than the hotel which is really annoying me.

Anyways, before this turns into a rant! Looking some feedback on how successful your incall days have been and what I can expect to make, I know it may differ widely due to various factors, but I wonder if I'm being too ambitious in aiming for over ?1000 in the two days. I had ?1200 worth of pre-booked appointments originally but I'm down to ?650 worth of pre-booked clients because of cancellations, people not getting back to me. I have a lot of free time, on the 24th I'm literally totally free from 3-8pm :( Are most of your clients appointments booked on the day? I'm quite nervous and very stressed, just looking some feedback on if more bookings are likely and what the limit tends to be profit wise! Thanks x

It depends on what you count as a successful day I suppose.

I count making enough to cover expenses, pay bills and having a minimum of ?100 left for treats a sucessful day, others might not count it as successful if they dont take home minimum of ?500 after expenses.

Also number of guys that book depends on thing like getting away from work, family etc or if theres any big events on.

Shaiya,

You are making plans for a time of the month just before many guys get paid so this could account for the cancellations and the lack of bookings.  Not everyone gets paid monthly I know but in all the years I've been in the business I have never organised a tour between the 22nd and 28th of any month.  Of course others will disagree but this planning has always stood me in good stead.

Good luck.

Edit to add : For those organising tours in Scotland, our schools finish up on wednesday for the summer  :o holidays !

I stand to make about ?1000 at the moment which I'm happy enough with although I do still have quite a lot of free space, just telling myself not to be greedy because I'm making in two days what some make in a month, but thanks for the advice on dates, I'll try something before the 20th next time and see how they compare

Good Luck Shaiya whatever happens.

The first few visits to an area can be a bit of a learning curve until the guys in that area get to know you and that you are reliable and discreet.

If you make the estimated 1k then you are winning for like you say it is what some people make in a couple of weeks in a run of the mill job.

Let us know how it goes for you and remember to do all the right things, like not giving out hotel name, room number till the very last minute.  You just don't know who you are giving it out to and any disgruntled clients can turn nasty.  :(

Ended up being a very successful venture! Made ?1200 in the end, got some excellent new feedback on AW and have some potiental regulars and repeat bookers. I had some really not very good clients, guy yesterday who was pulling my hair quite roughly, felt like I was going to end up slapping him and a guy today who sat there looking completely disinterested and made various prejudice assumptions about my line of work. However, on the brightside I had the best sex in ages with a client who left looking amazed, and a lot of laughs with some lovely guys, always a good feeling! Made a note on my incall days tab on my profile already about accepting advance slots on my July incall day, took your advice Lady_Lust_XXX and am planning around the 16th this time. Now I get to kick back for the night in my lovely rented apartment with some choccies and wine, lovely :D

You are right. But this biz is certainly unpredictable. It is the 26th, I'm doing incall today (unplanned), I put it up this morning and from 9-10 my slots were gone, the phone was ringing off the hook (is now being ignored, as I am chilling). Yet a well planned incall could result in bugger all bookings at the best part of the month.

I think with any tour, you have to be prepared to make nothing after expenses, as that is a risk you take.

Funny you should say that, for this week has been the same for me too.  Mind you, if I thought I wasn't going to make a good profit I wouldn't bother do the tour.  Im definitely  not going to work for very little profit or none at all.  Wasted energy IMO.

Years ago, bookings used to start around 10 am and go on till around the same time in the evening.  Not quite the same now.  :(

if i put my phone on at 10am and turn it off at midnight and take only short notice appointments i tend to see between 3 and 6 guys.
depending on the weather (sunny = busy) and time of month (weekends are shit for me)

yeah, the short notice v long notice bookings thing deserves its own thread really but i have the philosophy that 'men dont get the horn in advanced'. short notice bookings make 90% of my work which is annoying as sometimes you sit in all day with no call!!

How do you class a short notice booking? I tend to ask for an hour's notice, but I'm thinking about dropping it to accepting 30 mins just to get more income (and stop being lazy)
