Title: Stretch marks and abit of a tummy issue or not????????
Post by: AngelEyes on 05 December 2009, 05:40:42 pm
Hello,

I know I have  a question on this  in one of my other threads. But I thought I would start this  as i am inetersted in gathering as many opinions as possible.

I have a few stretchmarks after chidbirth ! and a  slight tummy.  Gone are the days when I ould eat anything and not put on weight.defintiely not as toned a sI used to be. Can anyone tell me id this is likely to be an issue?

i know alot of you are indies so probably not an issue................. well and not everyone on here will have stretchmarks  of courselol.

But has anyone worked for an agency with a aless than perfect body without it being an issue?

Justa sking ahead of starting for an agency on Monday as im abit worried when they see mme they might  change their mind.........

also , I am worried about the converstaion side of things  that i  have  to mainatian with the cients? God taking  a few years out fo this businessreally hasnt helped..........

Hey sweetie,

It's a perfectly normal thing to worry about... I have the same issues as yourself  :( I used to be a size 8-10 before having my little boy but am now a size 12/14 and although my stretch marks aren't very noticeable I do have what I call my mummy-tummy. I work for an agency, and although I did feel very self-conscious at first, I can honestly say I haven't had any complaints.... in fact nothing but compliments (actually, the clients are more obsessed with another noticeable side effect of having had children, the boobs, and don't seem to notice the tummy that goes with it!). I completely empathise with you though as for me personally, it's knowing what you used to be like before and knowing that you've changed that makes you feel like shit! However, the more clients I see the more I believe that just because I am slightly bigger, and a lot curvier, doesn't make me any less attractive than I was before. Sometimes this job can actually be a confidence booster. You'll see. Us women come in all shapes and sizes, there is a market out there for all of us... yes some men like slim women but just as many prefer a curvier shape. I really wouldn't worry. Besides, agencies take photos, so if a guy has booked you then he has more than likely seen your photos and you are therefore exactly what he is looking for!
Remember that nobody is perfect..... especially the punters themselves, and we all have flaws, be it stretch marks, scars but it makes us who we are  ;D
One hint of advice though.... it might be a good idea to take a basque/corset or negligee to your photoshoot, something which flatters your shape. That way not only will you feel more confident but your photos will be better ( I didn't and really wish I had now).

Good luck sweetheart I'm sure you'll be fine!
Love

Hiya,

Thanks for the words of encouragement! fel much better now.

I was just worried as I havent worked for  afew years  and I was worried about  re starting as less than perfect. i mean Im starting with an agency and they ahve to make money btu as you say if I get a booking most of the men wil  have  viewed my photos.

Also,I w s abit concerned as on monday I wil be promoted by phone sd there are no pictures on their website yet. However in some ways this is good as there is no requets for money upfront for photos etc so i  know the agency is genuine.

Anyway I wil just go there brimming with confidence . i guess if I dont make an issue of my foibles then  thats the best way.

Oh and thanks for the advice re what to wear for the photoshoot!

Oh and  I did look at the other girls closely. None of them are perfect honed toned page 3 girls so that has put my mind at eas.

This industry is a bit boring like that - there are girls with pretty faces, girls with great bodies, girls with brown hair, girls with short hair, girls with big boobs, girls with small feet... etc etc etc. Just like real life rather than some sort of man-heaven. :P I don't think most punters are even that interested in having sex with a Goddess Of Ultimate Perfection - since even the latter might not offer the right services or have a good attitude.

I think the best way to work is to play up your 'faults' (ie the things that simply make you unique and are therefore not actually bad at all) - that way you can easily spark the interest of potential clients; hopefully the ones who like to have an enjoyable experience with a real woman, rather than the ones who just want to play with a real, live barbie doll.

lol  streeeeeeeeeech  marks  why cant men have em eh .....

my advice is to wear a suspender belt that is wide  this will hide your stomach and look very sexy    - love honey do lovely ones for a tenner they are nice and wide at the front  with lots of lace and they wash very well

if you  wear a basque especially for appointments they are nightmare to get on and off and most guy will want you to take it off at some point but they dont seem to be that bothered about removing suspenders and stockings
also basque tend to be made of itchy scratch stuff that gets ruined with the slightest bit of oil on them

i had the same problem after having a c -section and no matter what could never get my nice flat stomach back  but being the crazy person that i am   i had a  stomach tuck which despite the serious  pain i was in for several days worked wonders i have the flatest hardest stomach around i can bounce 10 pence coins on it  lol

also try to push out your good assesets ie if your busty make sure you get nice pics of your boobs or if your legs are your best assest then lots of pics or your bum ect

Men have stretch marks! Not that baby ones of course, but they get them from growth spurts and rapid weight gain same as anyone.

Lol  it seriously hurt big time i could not stand up straight for about 4 days afterwards . I  went out for boxing day lunch about 6 days later and ate to much ( after not eating anything for a few day) and though i was having a heart attack  -  it was indegestion  - I took neurofen like smarties,  surprised im not addicted to em
And dont even ask about laughing sneezing and coughing those are the 3 things that you def cant do after a tummy tuck  Plus you are swollen bruised and walking around like you have done ten round with mike tyson and def come off worse
ive also had lipo and boob job but thats another story

You're right Ani-Mae, men certainly do have stretch marks, and I've also seen wobbly tummies after they've lost a lot of weight.

I have a large scar on my lower abdomen from gynae work, and I don't attempt to hide it. I'm quite proud of it because I went through a lot to get it, but I was concerned that it may put some people off - nobody has ever commented on it in the last 3 years.

Hello Ladies xx

I saw a gent last month who had huge issues with his stretch marks. He had lost several stones in weight but had also lost his confidence in the bedroom dept due to this excess skin/stretch marks! He refused to take his top off. No matter what i said he refused to believe that my compliments were for real. He was a very very handsome man too!
Such a shame that people lack in confidence where bodies/appearance is concerned. I'm not exactly a skinny lizzy myself. Penny calls me an 'inbetweeny' lol.
I think Escorting gives me an amazing amount of confidence and i think nothing of stripping naked with the lights on!
Remember, gentlemen come back to see you because they LIKE you as you are... yep, stretch marks and all  ;D

Hi ParisB.  How long was it after your tummy tuck before you were able to see clients again? (if you don't mind me asking  :))  I've wanted a tummy tuck for a long time but have always been put off by the thought of being out of action for about 5 or 6 weeks after (think I read somewhere that this is how long you need to allow after a tummy tuck).

i had t/tuck done on the afternoon of  dec 18 2007 so two years ago next week   and i was home the next morning  ( but i did have it done locally in bristol so no real travelling ) i went on holiday on the 5th jan to dominican republic for 3 weeks as my family live there i went back to work in feb  so i was off for probably around 8 weeks in whole but i think i could have gone back around 6/7 weeks if i wanted to cos all the bruising  and the swelling was gone

The bruising was very very bad and very painfull TBH   you really cant stand up straight for around 4- 5 days but when i went to the DR on the 5th which was around 17 days i could walk ok but a bit  stiff still a bit swollen but i could stand up straight AND  i was wearing a bikini as well when i was there so most of the bruisng was gone by around the  3 week

the first 3/4 days are the worst then it gets better after that after 2 week i was driving my car but not walking my dogs cos they pull to much
i paid  4700 for t/t and lipo on the stomach with the most fabulous surgeon highly reccomend him as he was brilliant and very very good some surgeons are awful and with t/t you really do want somone that you can trust and personal reccomendation as well i have seen some very bad t/t where the women was not suitable for it in any way at all but still went ahead and had it done and the result are very very bad   it dose not get rid of streach marks but if you look at these pics here these were all taken the second week in feb after my op so about  2months after  if you want to know anything else just get in touch    if you do go ahead reasearch your surgeon carefully  - i spent months reasearching my surgeon Places like transform and the likes you most often  dont get to see the surgeon who will operate on you  just the  nurse /sales person
i had my boobs done with the medical group in birminghan and they were very good
and i had lipo in clinic beacare in belgium who are also very good and highly reccomend if money is an option t/tuck is around 2200 3000 in belgium     but to be honest any surgery boobs lipo or t /tuck you should aim to take of at least a month preferably  2months if possible its a major operations under  g/a and that can  takes a while to get out of your system as well
my stomach is stil very flat very hard and the scar is there but not that noticiable as its very very low

Timothy Burge BAAPS, BAPRAS, MB ChB FRCS(Plast)
The Chesterfield Hospital i would reccomend him  200 percent  you might have to travel to bristol but he is very good
he works in bristol he was a army surgeon in Bosnia and Gulf War so i figured if he could fix up soldiers them my stomach would be a walk in the park
he is very honest and really nice gentleman wont do surgery if he  dont think its right   other surgeons that i saw wanted me to have a full tummy tuck but i knew that i did not want  to have that i wanted to have a mini tummy tuck  my stomach was reasonably flat to start with but just had this pouch from c-sectio  so  mini t/.tuck  is ideal if its the c-section scar that has resulted in saggy stomach due to stomach muscles being cut open and not being put back together again  no matter what you do if you have had this you will not get stomach muscles back again  t/tuck is the only way

it took around an hour to do literally sliced me open on the old scar tightend up the stomach muscles using i belive  ; cats guts wire   ( wondered wear my cat went  ::) removed excess skin and then lipoed the area to get smooth result and then sewed me back up
either way though mini or full t/tuck the pain is the same  you would need probably need  a full stomach tuck if say you have lost a lot of weight and have loads of excess skin but if its due to c-section then most probably you could have a mini  tummy tuck
some surgeons want to do the full tummy tuck cos it cost more money   i saw 2 surgeons who all reccomended full tummy tuck but Dr Burge said straigt away without me even undressing that i would need a mini t/tuck  he could see what the problem was for me did not need full t/tuck
