I get one or two outcalls a month, incalls are definately worth it or I would be living on fresh air.

Try getting a hotel maybe one day a week to dip your toe in (week days) and advertise your "tour" hard.  You can do this for free on Adultwork and Punterlink.

See the adverting thread.  If you do not advertise how will a punter know how lovely you are and where to find you.

I think the best places for offering incalls to get the most money-clients are in the city centres of:
London
Manchester
Birmingham

Ive found towns to be quite slow. When i first started escorting i was renting a place in my home town and was getting probably on average 2 incalls a day? Then when i moved to the city it was anything upto several incalls and  rarely more.

Some people ive known, have said that London has a LOT of business, Manchester too and Birmingham can be slow in comparison.

Incalls are worth it, it depends where youre based.

I only offer outcalls so a few times a month I spend a couple of days in a hotel in my city.

The first time I did it, went perfect, was busy and very pleased with the outcome. So I did another! This time I had 2 cancellations, bit disappointed but no biggie, still went OK. The third time I did it, I had 2 cancellations, 1 didn't even turn up and another turned up 15 mins late and was rude. I figured that if they aren't paying for the hotel room then they don't care about turning up on time or at all!

Oh right, sorry for being snappy! It sounded like you were just talking about your current rate of outcalls. It's not like I've ever done a roaring trade, but I had one or two outcalls a week which got me an income I was happy with at ?300 per booking. Now I just have one regular I see at his house and almost all the rest are incalls.

Jess, I wouldn't be falling over yourself to commit a lot of money to a flat if you are only working part time in the evenings - the majority of incall requests (for me at least) are during weekday office hours, and a flat is a very expensive investment. Since you say you aren't doing much advertising I suspect that's your problem and I would tackle that first - read the Where To Advertise thread a bit further down the page. You can always do the odd hotel incall day, as has been suggested already .

I used to be part-time/outcall only, and did two or three bookings a week (I didn't start incalls until not long after I packed in the civvy job and went full time), so it's definitely doable depending on the sort of area you're based in. But you do need to accept that you have to spend a bit of money to make some, advertising-wise.

 i would agree with what amy and lou said a working flat is a big investment especially if its a second one simply  to work from  then to make it worth while you would have to really commit your self to working pretty much full time in  and most likely daytimes rather than weekends


   i dont know where your based but i know where i live in Bristol my last flat that i rented in 2006 was a large  two bed two bathroomed full furnished in a block with intercom ect and through an agency cost me 750 a month plus bills and i have no idea what it would cost in somewhere like london  probably heart stopping i would imagine
 
 initially with agency fees it cost me first months rent of 750 plus a six week deposit of  1050 i think and 200 agency fee /credit check so around 2k  and that was in the days when escorting was a licence to print money as  it was really busy  and prices were a lot higher 
so my weekly cost were  alone were  175 just in rent  alone  plus bills  ect  so convservativly i reckon at least 25o a week and that before i have even spent a penny on  advertising 
 
 and then on top of that you may have to furnish it as well with beds bedding curtains ect   i didnt with mine but there is always stuff that you will need to make it comfortable if your spending a long time there

 However if your able to rent a place to live and also work from at the same time then i think it become a lot more cost effective to the point that you can get something that you really want  as your going to be living and working from the same place so only have one set of bills to pay   

  With regards to paying for advertising its really is a case of suck it and see    for some particular types of adverts work fine and then dont work as well for others
populars sites like punternet punterlink  and local regional directories and fourums and also having your own website as well should in crease your business and not just relying on adultwork 

personally if i was going to rent a flat again to  work from  i think i would have to advertise in the local papers to ensure that i stayed busy enough to warrent the cost of a working flat   (which i did for a long time) but i dont think i could go back to the endless question and timewaster that come from the newspapers
