Starting out..in the southwest.?
« on: 18 December 2011, 02:29:31 pm »
Hi All

Escorting is someting i have been thinking about for a couple of years and the time seems right for me to get into it. I am 26 and need to be making more money than I currently can to afford to buy my own house. I could wait years for the promotion that may never come or think outside the box!
I have always considered going down this route but only now feel I have the life experience and confidence to do it. And tbh the idea of being paid for sex has always been a big turn on for me. I am a very sexual person, open minded and attractive. I'm sick of men letting me down in relationships or being used  for no return in one night stands but i still need to have regular sex ( or I spend half my time getting myself off!).  Having sex with with strangers I'm not attracted to seems like a more attractive option when I'm making money out of it!
I have been reading the saafe site and the posts on this forum and have found them an excellent resource for research. So thanks for sharing girls your advice is invaluable!!
I am in the process of contacting a couple of agencies but I am worried about my location and looking for a bit of advice really.
The only agency i can find in my exact location  (that isn't a parlour or other pay high volume work) seems reputable and I have checked it out through other sites and links from this  one. Am I allowed to mention the name on here? If so I would like to see if anyone else has any experience with them.
One thing I was considering travelling to a city such as bristol for a couple days at a time and maybe working from a hotel or doing outcalls and just getting myself a cheap hotel to sleep in. This would also greatly reduce my risk of exposure!  Does anyone else do anything similiar and does anybody know if I could do this sort of thing through an agency?

If anyone has any advice I would love to hear from you, especially other women working in the southwest area.

I'm sure plenty could give a better reply than I Sarah - there are I believe a number of threads on here concerning people new to escorting, or thinking about it.
If you try the search option putting in something like 'new escorts' or some variation I'm sure you will find a lot of helpful hints.

there are hotels that are in bristol that are fine to work from  future inn ,  on of the ibis,  travelodge,  also areas such as cardiff exeter can be  good but other have had various experiences  of those areas  ive always done ok but i have workd in those area for years so well established which makes a difference

one thing i will say is that you are probably starting at the wrong time xmas is generally shit no money from clients and a huge amount of girl all scrabbling around trying to make money for xmas which often means no one makes very much

Thanks for the advice ladies, i appreciate it.

Exeter sounds like a good option for me travel wise. I don't why I didn't think of it before.  Good point about the time of year as well. But then again being quiet might be good if I'm just starting out and deciding if it is for me or not.

I started off very slowly just under a year ago - by taking the odd outcall here and there.  This suited me just fine, I got used to escorting, learnt from my mistakes (didn't find this site until I'd been doing it for 4 months) and after a few months like this felt comfortable about seeing more clients.

When I started, I lived in London and travelled down to Brighton everyday to work, just to make sure no-one recognised me  ::) It was great, but travel costs were extreme. I now live and work in London, and havent had any problems so far  :-* hope that helps!

exeter is pretty good   lots of rich farmers with bugger all to do all day apart from milk there cows

good area for all the surrounding villages  ( read wealthy)  not that far from plymouth and easy access to taunton somerset  and north /south and east devon all pretty close ie 1 hour drives

plus not that many girls there  there is a loot that you can advertise in which is cheap 50 quid for two weeks i think
jury hotel is good to work from
allways had a good trip i normally combine it with cardiff  so go bristol to exeter then to cardiff then to york as from there i can get to wherever else i want to ie leeds /scotland   or ireland
