Certain "low life" type men use this similar scam type practice which usually involves offering something a girl wants or needs, preferably a girl in a desperate situation so that she'll provide what he wants (Usually sex); the promised benefit turns out to be a fabrication or exaggeration at the best; this has happened to several friends I know, one who was promised a job and it turned out that the guy had made everything up; so there was no job and didn't even work for the company he claimed to work for. Is this style of scam called a Bait and Switch?
