Started recently but need advice

Hello,

I'd like to say I just discovered your website and it's just amazing!!! Thanks to those who started it, it's really great!

I am originally from Paris. I started escorting roughly a month ago. For the moment I provide outcalls only and use aw. I already read your advice on time wasters etc and it's so helpful, thank you !

I do have questions though:

I'm quite surprised by how calm this week is. Is it the heat or is it just normal?

Providing outcalls only, what should normally my "peak" and "off peak" days be?

Since I'm new to escorting but also to the country I'm not sure I do things properly, I mean my availability etc...

Hi Charlotte and welcome to SAAFE :)

Without knowing where you are it's difficult to say, but Adultwork works better in some places than others and it's well worth considering some more advertising - there's a thread at the top of this board, plus lots of information about organising your own site if you chose to.

There's less demand for outcalls than incalls, and what there is in my experience tends to be in the evenings rather than during the day. I wouldn't say there are 'good' and 'bad' days especially as everybody's different - I rarely do outcalls because I'm far happier on my own territory but plenty of ladies only offer them and manage OK.

As for availability (as with the outcalls), the harder it is for people to book you then less of them will be able to, but if punters want to see you they'll normally find a way. I'd see how it goes and if you're concerned then maybe think about doing some regular incall days at a hotel?

Thank you. I've been literally on your website for 4 hours, it's just great.

I know this sounds silly but "punter" is a client, right?

I'm in London. And easily available though I also read somewhere that if a girl is too easily available it means she's got no clients... Which isn't great;)

Yes, punter is a client :D. It's an old fashioned word really and some people don't like it, but I do ('client' makes me feel like I should be selling them legal advice, or something).

The availability question would work different ways for different people I suppose, but it doesn't do any harm to set your working hours and stick to them - structure can make working for yourself a lot easier to manage and I can't be the only person who used to even take her mobile phone to the toilet in case I missed a call when I first came back and started doing incalls. If somebody enquiries about a time outside your hours and you want to see them, there's nothing stopping you.

What I really meant was that the more people who are prevented from seeing you because of whatever restrictions you put on who can book (whether it's because of working hours, not offering incalls or restricting who can book by age or similar) then it gives you a smaller client pool to choose from, but then nobody can see every punter in London so it should be far less of a problem there :).

You are also starting just as the school holidays are starting so its a hit and miss time.Absolutely get yourself on lots of different directories and maybe think about getting your own website sometime.

I'm simply allergic to those. Mostly young, dumb, no manners and oh, broke anyway;)
A guy told me a few days he doesn't pay more than ?100 as a rule. I said ok, no worries, good luck and then he just starts texting and insulting. Thank god iPhone blocks phone numbers...
