Sounds good to me but the one thing I've learned is that you NEVER know for sure when your phone will ring. The only way will be to try it and see I guess!

I personally would still go for the flexible hotel booking just because it would be SODs law for you to book a cheapie and then just get a bunch of TWs and no actual bookings.

I have booked the Jurys Inn for as cheaply as ?51 per night before now - sometimes just a couple of days before.

I guess you could try the cheaper option and just see if it works out or not.
