First things first:

Any contact you give him now will only encourage him, do not under any circumstance respond to his calls texts or emails, this is hard. Any contact with you and he will be achieving his goal of still being in your life, and any contact at all will be misconstrued.

Write down and date and time all the times he has contacted you including numbers and what was said.

Regardless of the 'level' of stalking or intensity, there is support and resources out there.

From personal experience, I would also change all my passwords for email website etc to something new and complicated. I didn't know I had someone lurking around me until everyone I knew, including my teachers AND employer  began getting extremely disturbing/threatening messages. All sent from MY EMAIL and Myspace.

I really need some advice on how to deal with a former client who is now stalking me. I refused to see him again after he started telling hw much he loves me,wants me for himself etc. He's also admitted to calling me as someone else just to hear my voice.He es'nt really scare me bu his a big annoyance!

Sorry to hear this foxy. Unfortunately that's one of the pitfalls of this job. Some customers end up crossing over the line and just don't seem to know when to stop.
You've got some good advice from Evie there. I would document every type of correspondence he has with you, be it phone calls, emails, texts etc. And I would send him a warning. Let him know that you're documenting everything he does and tell him that if he tries to make contact with you again that you'd have no hesitation in going to the police. And don't let that be an empty threat. If you feel it has reached that stage where you can't take anymore, then absolutely call the police.
Regardless of the work we do, they take stalking and type of menacing behaviour seriously. And if it gets to the stage where it's affecting your physical and mental well-being, then you need to take it one step further.

That's the problem with this job. Some people take the professionalism we show as real feelings and start to take what little affection we show personally. They forget it is just a job.
