Hi.
just looking for so advice so i hope this is the right place to come, any way im not exactly new to escorting, as i did a little when i was in university. Anyway that was a few years ago and i just stuck an add in the paper. Where is the best place to advertise these days, i was thinking the manchester little black book, the birch place and Adult work. Will this be ok, or should i just put a add in paper? Also before i was in Brighton so had a large market for my speciality, is business as good up here for a pre op trans person? thanks  :)

I don't know. A quick look on AW shows more trans escorts in Greater Manchester than Brighton, but it's also rather bigger :)

Ads in the paper have become more problematic, not least as many papers now refuse to have take them. A search here will find other issues, including the way you spend time explaining what you offer and what it costs to callers.

I work with a trans friend, and even when you do manage to get an ad in the paper, with the word transsexual, I still hear her having to explain in simple terms what that means to some people on the phone.  :FF

From what I know theres quite a good market for TVs/Ts in Mancs.

Theirs a big gay/Trans/fetish scene and community in Mancs too . Id say mancs is probably the best Northern city if you want to do well as TS escort. Deffo better for business than leeds. Mancs is also pretty progressive in attitudes to sex work , compared to the short drive over the pennines to West Yorks , where the attitudes of the police ect are backwards to say the least.

The Birch place and Aw are good places to start. The LBB has a T-Girl section so id get posting there too. I also like what the LBB does in promoting the clean/safe side of the sex world , and standing up for those who are exploited ( red line)  , and outing the places which have bad practices. Bravo to them!!

Theres also  TV lady on AW whos blog i read , very enlightening . She does street work and indoors too. Its a very  interesting read as she gets a lot of apparently "total straight "  punters  ( out on the beat ) who are more than up for it once she tells them shes a TV they are well up for it :)

You would be very surprised about our world, especially ts's, in the working part 90% of the guys i see are basically straight, there not attracted to men at all. in the real world i've only been rejected twice, once was in aiya napa, i forgot to tell him, he was like  :o wtf and left, there was 6 other people in the room sleeping tho. So i think if it was just us 2 in the room alone it would have been a diffrent story.... the other one was just a bit of a weirdo (genuinely) lol
maybe i find it more easier because i'm a blonde 23yo that looks convincing
even the guys i have tricked (not told them i'm ts) have come back for more after they find out after a few weeks/months of messing around ;D x
