So many questions, sorry
« on: 19 May 2022, 10:23:29 pm »
Hello,
I absolutely love this site, joined today.
Started this work recently, gave 2 agencies a try for a few weeks and settled with one, they had 2 very different business models and the current agency suits me a lot better.
I am thinking of independent work for a few reasons, even though I do appreciate how this agency runs things. I am thinking of maybe doing a bit of both.
I need to go to another town soon for an unrelated reason and have to book a hotel, so I thought why not let this be the perfect chance to do what you call a 'tour'. Maybe I'm jumping the gun a bit, not sure. Do I simply, book a hotel, then advertise myself on Adultwork, saying 'I'm in X city tonight'. Have I got this wrong. If not, what else can you advise that I need to know.

(I also have unrelated tax questions but I thought I'd keep it simple for now- I've searched for answers to both here but don't seem to be getting the right hits)

Pretty much, say you're in such and such town. Use tabs to say 'I'm here from xx date to xx date's and use local escort search to advertise a day or so  beforehand. Happy to guide even though I don't tour myself. I would never work for an agency myself.

The tax questions depends what you need. I have an amazing accountant who was a client firstly. I've learnt a lot but not an expert.

I would probably advise setting up an AW profile now, if only to get some of the men who have an alert set up for new SPs and other time wasters who have no intention of booking you. It would also give you a chance to think about how you want to do things, what services you will do, what your boundaries are and also your screening process - don’t rely on AW feedback as your only guide.

There’s so much useful information not only across the forum (the search box is your friend) but also the main Saafe site too. Read everything, particularly if you do want to do want to try working independently.

Possibly the only thing that makes an agency worthwhile is that they act as a buffer and you don’t have to deal with the time wasters. Even so, agency work has never appealed to me. I have no doubt that you will quickly realise that paying an agency 30% is silly when you can do everything yourself.

Hi Olivia  :)
Do upload the client eye app on your phone it's vital for checking callers numbers it will save you alot of time as many guys are a problem and women will add reports to warn other escorts
With adding tours on adult work  there is a section you can use .
For adding simple quick info on your location in new places
Put
[Tab=tours]
Example.. Northampton May 30
York June 8/12/15
To also show in those particular areas your staying  you can show in adultwork local search
Do let us know on here if you need any help with anything good luck

Hi,
Thanks so much for all your input and replies. It has given me confidence and I do just need to bite the bullet. I’m quite excited.
I dropped one agency as certain services , that I actually don’t mind doing rarely,  with discretion, were just expected, like it was nothing, for a bit extra. Pissed me right off! It’s not the money when it comes to what I decide to do or not do when it comes to extras. For me it’s other factors, like how polite they are, and whether I want to invest in them coming back.
I like the idea of being able to fit a few bookings in early in the night, say until about 1am, and then to just be able to ‘clock off’ and get a full nights sleep.

Maybe try advertising on other sites such as vivastreet too. For me I don't get much work of AW and find it very hit and miss depending where I am located.
