I know its crap!  Do you think the Olmpics has caused a downturn?

I don't want to sound like I'm gloating....I'm just letting you know how it is for me....

I'm on AW and things are pretty buzzing for me right now.....I've not been able to accept Bookings up until today because I've had the Plumber in to fix my Hot Water (or lack thereof) but I have a Booking for this Afternoon for 2 hours....so we'll see if he turns up.

It could be busy for me because I'm literally 15 minutes away from the Olympic Venue so maybe the people staying around here are wanting to see me....not sure....

Don't forget Sequin to keep updating your Profile (to do this you need to just change a few Words on your Profile) and it will put you at the top of the Search Results....I also find Available Today quite good...but doesn't always make a difference....

Watching the men's final on the TV at the moment.

I am more than happy to offer free, team building support on production of their Olympic passes.  Wow the physiques and strength of these guys and I though the swimmers, divers, (and obviously the lovely Tom) were eye candy.

Does it matter that is quiet when we can watch fine sport? Not in my book.

Ha ha.

I'm finding it no different to usual, somedays everyone wants me and I'm turning down bookings, other days are quiet. Usually works out ok in the end.

i was reading only yesterday that many business in london are reporting anything between 30 -50 percent down on the same time last year  so yeah i think the games has affected most people  of course some will do fine and they won't be affected in the slightest but most will be

Well I'm based in Manchester and have good feedback on aw. I think the combination of summer holidays (for schools) and the olympic games has had a big effect on work/calls. Roll on September and things should go back to some sort of normality.

Yes I agree with this. It is a little busyier maybe but when it's quieter I still manage to see a couple of clients most days and always end up toping up the quieter times with overnights. So it always works out okay.

Yes everyone seems to be staying round the Stratford area. Hotels in London are dropping their prices. One near Hyde park went from ?500 to under ?100 for a night. Restaurants in Central London are suffering as everyone who normally go there are staying away thinking it's congested. I've found the roads to be almost empty compared to usual:-D

Oh yeah that's right...so is the business in London booming now with the Olympics going on?
