Hmm yes it is a little sad when a regular who has previously behaved impeccably begins to show
signs of becoming a timewaster. Not sure why they do this but it has happened to me on a few occasions.
I end up blocking them so don't have to deal with it any more but it is a bit of a puzzle
Could it be familiarity breeds contempt?

Yep, think you got it in one! It's a common theme on here and can be a hard lesson to learn, especially when new to this job.
We should put signs up in discreet places saying, 'GIVE DISCOUT AND YOU ARE DOOMED!'

hmm yes I think are right there. I've had the same with a regular who started out being a good payer (offering over the odds for a 2 hour booking), then I did an overnight with him in a lovely hotel with tons of champagne, the next time he even paid me ?100 to go out for a drink with him! Since then its been one cancellation after another (admittedly I had to cancel one too), offering to pay me by cheque, and he wants to chat for ages on the phone. I've stopped replying to his texts today, I just can't be bothered anymore... NEXT... !

It is very very quiet not had a client for a week ,however turned a few away due to not having compatiable times but very quiet. I am now starting to see this as if it happens its a bonus and not rely on it so much especially when its football, holidays and stuff.. I am sure it will pick up a little.

There's a multitude of reasons why it's gone quiet recently. And you HAVE to look further than day to day/week to week for an overall finance evaluation. You're self-employed/running a business, and ultimately it's monthly/yearly income that's important.

Oh tell me about it. Have a guy who's doing the same thing and after today I just don't know if I want to take his calls anymore.

He has booked me twice last year, $500 each. Even bought me a TV and microwave. However, he has since cancelled 3 times. Last summer, and then this week he claimed he didn't know his friends were taking him to casino/dinner on our scheduled date. I said okay...but I need a deposit to hold Sunday if you want to reschedule. He actually paid it, but then cancelled again citing forest fires in the area which is true....but he called me this morning asking if we could move the time up, then calls again later saying to cancel.

He keeps going on and on about how he knows it messes me up and that he hates to do that and apologizes. But after 3 times, some of that just starts seeming like either he's unorganized or unreliable and I just can't keep dealing with it.

Just had my best weekend ever . Lots of calls and email enquiries too, including someone i saw a few times when i started last year, hope it stays good for e and gets better for everyone. I hear AW has deleted over 1000 profiles recently so maybe that's a factor? Going to treat myself to red shoes i have been eyeing up.

I don't really think 1000 profiles over the whole of the uk is going to make that much difference.

They usually do a purge on each area periodically and because it is done regularly it just isn't noticed in most areas.

Keep an eye on your own area and you will see what I mean over time.

There's still an incredible amount of fake profiles on AW - I was nosing about there last night while crossing my fingers for a cam client - I'd say that a good 20% of the DirectCam profiles that were logged on last night had fake pics, or were duplicate profiles etc.

Nightmare! Yes its annoying isn't it when a good client turns into a timewaster (whether or not is their fault!). I will give the benefit of the doubt to a regular to a certain extent and then it just gets to breaking point and I let them drift away...

Oh god yeh and the amount that are almost certainly (sadly) trafficked women. They all have similar names, similar prices (and usually 0 feedbacks) and often the profiles are all set up on the same day too. I've stopped looking as its just too depressing.
