After 4.5 years of working in this business and you still need advice concerning whether to charge
a regular client more?

Something not right about all you have told us Blaine.

I understand what you say in that your bad attitude came after things went downhill for you,
not the other way. Is that really true though? Clients just don't disappear like that unless there is
a good reason in my experience.

I have no real idea of where you advertise or how you market yourself but if work was abundant
until recently then it is either just a quiet patch which we all go through or there is something putting
those guys off phoning you. You can't be having ALL the bad luck in just meeting guys who want to
pay less. I think in 3 years I have only had one guy ask for a reduced rate and that was a new guy
who I told sorry no can do.

Unless we know how you present yourself in your website or advertising then we know little to be able
to advise further.

Would you stay in the business if work picked up or are you so out of spirits that it is too late to rectify?

It's been so quiet today I decided to have some very strong garlicy curry with some raw onions in a salad. Then a client phones for an appointment. Sod's Law.

Cat that is a great list, the only other things I can think of are to extend your availablity if you can and blog. And be consistant. If you have a special offer for Saturday from 12pm until 6pm, stick to it. Don't keep chopping and changing things, it takes time for things to filter down to the masses. If you keep changing services rates times etc clients will think you are unreliable and flaky.

Oh yeah check your listings/links make sure they are active and if they have pictures update those pictures.

My advice Blaine is the job is obviously getting you down so don't do it. You have the power to change it so therefore you need to look at yourself when moaning as you are the ONLY one who can change things. Life is too short to do something that you are not enjoying.

One thing i do find that works great is mini video clips i have loads that i use and rotate depending on where i am so when i post an advert on say punternet or punterlink or escort ireland saying that im visiting / or availble i also post the link to my video it get loads of hits this way and increased bookings most of the guys that i see that are new say that they have seen one of the clips

btw if anyone is in my area the southwest and need a good photographer or someone to do videos clips for website /adultwork private stuff
i have recently used and excellent photographer who did my most recent photos for me and some videos as well
he charges between 150 -250 for 2- 3 hours and it can be photos + videos however you want to work it its your choice

he dosnt have a studio for this sort of work So would need to be in hotel /apartment but if your visiting bristol bath area on tour and in hotel then i would definatly reccomend him
