Yesterday was utterly dead and I have a feeling today will be as well. Rather panicked, so very poor at the moment. Fingers crossed!

It just gets better.   :FF I'm supposed to be doing incalls this Thurs and had 3 potential bookings, and one by one today they have all cancelled.  So I've decided to cancel the hotel and not bother.  I was taking pills this week to prevent coming on so I could do them, but might as well just get my period out of the way and just try and concentrate on getting work in for next week. Pah!

Urgh, that's rubbish Dexi. I had a day last week where one guy turned up, half an hour late, said his wife was coming home and left at once. Got another half hour booking that day, guy turns up, half an hour late again, asks how much it is. Says it is too expensive, leaves, having given me a pair of gloves, "so at least I got something out of it". Grrr...

It sounds like your day was worse.  At least I didn't lose out on paying for a hotel as they had all let me know in good time, but to turn up on the day and say the wife's coming home and you're too expensive is just taking the p***.  As you say, at least you got some gloves out of it.  Thank heavens for small mercies eh!

Strangly enough I have been consistently busy and even had a record week 2 weeks ago so no complaints right now Bristol is treating me well at the moment - fingers crossed it will keep doing so x  If not time to hit the sunny shores of Goa! x

To the ladies finding it quiet (and what each individual means by quiet is different, don't forget!) remember that it's half term week in a lot of places, and the February half term is notorious for being the worst week of the year.

I've just got back from eleven days touring and aren't planning on bothering much this week (and I don't work much at home anyway), but I think it's safe to say that having high expectations for the next few days is pretty much a waste of time.

Yes I think valentines day throws a spanner in the works so to speak.  I had bookings on valentines day with a lovelly regular client and a few last minute bookings also but yesterday was the first day when no bookings at all since May last year - and today has been ok but not as busy as normal.  I think next year a holiday in Feb is called for!

Get the kids back to school and bit of sunshine and they will all be out looking for some fun x

ive done pretty good this week since getting back from holiday last week  -  phone is quite but no tws and lots of regs booking  -  but ive been away from bristol  for  almost 2 months so its mainly regs and a few newbies  -   valentines day was quiet just a few regs in the daytime but yesterday and today have been good
You have to all remember its half term this week and its feb and febs always a slow sloggish month as a rule   to be fair as amy said whats busy to one would be dead to other and whats dead for some would be busy

Just moaning that I've had my first experience of complete deadness the last week or so. My phone has hardly rang! Usually I'll have at least 2 bookings a day no problem, and a lot of phonecalls and bookings, but all last week I must have seen about 4 people :/ Booking for today had to cancel, and argh! Just so annoying! I got a phone call last night at 9.30pm, by which time i'd mentally finished and was eating dinner so couldn't take it! Now I'm having to just make my self ready for anytime, just incase! The phone just isn't ringing! I hope this ends soon :(
