A friend and I were talking earlier. 

A couple of years ago if we saw only 3 guys in one day/each day of the week then we were having a bad day.  Nowadays three bookings a day is good, but that is just because so many girls have come into the business.  In Scotland the number of escorts have gone up by 300% minimum, so what chance have we got.  Its not the easy job it was when I started in the business five years ago. :(

actually im the opposite ive actually had a good January which i was very happy with as i thought i may get the january blues that everybody speaks of.. and i just finished my monthly cycle and already got a few bookings scheduled from tomrw onwards.

but its all a big waiting game i suppose

Recession is biting hard. I think this year is worse than last already :( Last January I was still a parlour girl and I remember there suddenly being a huge amount of new girls starting in the industry. I don't think many stuck around as they had the impression they'd be raking it in right away. Unfortunately they started at the wrong time. But even still a fair few grinned and bared it. It'll pick up again soon though. Fingers crossed x

Yep feeling it here too.

On the plus side though, my winter plumage is looking magnificent! I shall be sorry to see it go when then next booking comes in! I love not having to preen and pluck and wax daily when it's quiet!

The down side is I don't have a TV so I do get bored in the evenings.

They say February is the worst month for business all round. People have paid off their Christmas credit card bills at the end of January and also self employed people have their tax to pay at the end of January. Plus the weather doesn't help.

And they say Dec is bad cos of run up to Xmas, and Jan is bad cos of post Xmas. One bloody day knacks 3 months of business! If anyone says March (for Xmas or any other reason) is bad I'll cry  :'(

Only two clients this week although I missed Monday and much of Tuesday I didn't think it would make much of a difference, was hoping today might bring a few in but sadly no.

Both were nice and was quite happy to see them but hardly a week's money between a one hour and 30 minute booking...

More than a few let downs and last minute cancellations, one character turned up an hour later than agreed then accused me of being rude to ask for the cash so quickly sent him packing!

Last week felt really quiet but turned out okay earnings wise at the end of it, little more than an hour each day actually working but enough for it to seem worthwhile.

So many people wanting to see what they can get out of a conversation as a free sex fix this week though! Its hard not to sound off-putting and unaccomodating saying check the website when they seem to expect graphic sex chat, and a lot of these I don't know when I'll finish work types so will call later (!?) - what you don't even know your own working hours? 'I've just been to the bank and don't have any money', 30 minutes before the booking...Perfect.

Really quiet for me too - been in a new-picture-posting frenzy hoping it would make a difference but it hasn't.  Really sucks, been deadsville for over a week.
Glad I came on here as I thought maybe I had some disease everyone knew about, I'm feeling a bit relieved to know i'm not the only one struggling.

I've been tempted to put some more up but maybe it just ends up as masturbation material for the fantasists?! My gallery is pretty big as it is, perhaps too large but I thought a range of images would be useful. 
I often get callers complimenting me on my pics but seems as if they just enjoy hearing the voice behind what they've seen on my profile...

You do definitely have a point there - I can see the pics might enourage guys to take matters into 'their own hands' so to speak, and when it's all over, not bothering with a real life meet. So you do have a point.

However, I don't think my problem is pic overload as I have 8 in my free gallery and 13 in my private gallery, which is not a huge number.

Luckily, in the last couple of days things have suddenly picked up & thankfully I have some good solid bookings set up for this week ... Peaks and troughs, this business.  Keeps us out of mischief I guess! ;D
