I've been quite busy considering the snow, it's strange but definitely no complaints! 

Been slower than usual for me since the new year, but definitely picking up again now

January felt really quiet.

I've been having the frustration of having my monthly break and the phone being really busy. My first day back and I slept in and missed 5 calls in an hour >_< Still, a booking already today with one of my regulars. God bless students and their lack of snow-vulnerable cars!

I'm still quiet.
At the recommendation of other girls in Manchester I have reduced my rates to fall in line (they have done this to help me out, and have been very helpful in other ways to).  I have popped up a special offer for Jan and Feb, and still no one is biting.
I know working in Manchester is hard as there are so many parlours that indies are trying to compete. But for me I feel I'm worth a little more. The guys in Manchester are spoilt for choice and I don't get a look in. 
I have managed to scrape together some money to do a tour (this has taken me quite a while to save), so I'm really hoping that it works out as I still cannot afford to pay for advertising yet.  I've been indie for 8 months now and it's a real hard struggle, but I'm stubborn and refuse to give up (unless of course the work completely dried up and there were no other options left for me working as an indie). I'm just hoping it will pay off soon.

I'm sure it's that quiet time of year, where everyone struggles. I haven't been busy, but I'm not totally dead either. 

The combination of the dreaded February along with the freezing weather is deadly! Last week was bad, this one has been just about ok. I got a part time job as I usually see clients in the afternoon, so I have enough money coming in to cover rent, but my phone is not ringing off the hook like it did in December and early January. Roll on spring!
