All that happens is a loading bar appears in the middle of a blacked out screen,

I have this problem, too, using Chrome on a Mac. $:-\$

Edit: A few clicks reveal that it's a Wix site - they're built on Flash, right? That's not good - they're unreliable and often don't work on certain devices or in certain situations where Flash is turned off - plus they're unreliable because free/online site builders don't make sites well. There are, fortunately, loads of better options for better-looking and well-made websites though, although getting something sorted *right now* (for your tour) might be a little trickier. I'm positive it can be done, though! (Or just use an AW profile in the short-term!)

Thanks ladies but I know about my site

I'm not using it at the moment so put a blank master page in front of it. I'm touring using AW and a few other things I normally use up in Scotland, none really matter that much on having a site. I find most work from my site comes when I'm in London. Merci again though.

I had a better day today but I think the problem is I am used to a high volume of calls and clients when working so seeing only 2 or 3 a day feels odd to me. I am not in the red this tour now so won't complain. Hope you are all doing grand wherever you are!

Yes its been so slow, i just quit early fri evening as fed up with twasters (time wasters)!!! needed to have some* me time* and then got a fab client saturday...hope to have some work this wed thursday fingers crossed... ladies good luck to you all,hope you make some decent money too and have a safe week ....

I'm finding it hit and miss, but for me seeing 4 guys a day is a lot (I find it really draining due to.my USP). I'm happy if I c a couple of guys a day - my last spell of work its between 1 and 4.
Today god knows how I'll get thro beenawake since 3.30am with loud noises coming (I think) from the hotel heating system!

Not sure about it being quiet at the moment. It's more like dead for me. I haven't had any work for nearly 2 weeks now and the phone has hardly rung, even when it has it's just for enquiries and no definite bookings. I've updated my website, put up some new private pics on my aw profile and chatting on forums to get myself noticed ( sadly because of the lack of work, I can't afford to advertise). Starting to panic somewhat, as I can't carry on like this. I've been indie for 6 months now, and have no regulars and I'm lucky if I see 2 clients a week. I love the job I do, and just can't bear the thought of having to go and find a normal job as I don't work well with others. I know it's difficult with the current economical climate, but there must be a way to drum up business, without it costing the earth.

I've had no work for 3 weeks. I don't get many anyway, lucky if I get one a week, but that keeps me going...but none for 3 weeks is really pushing it. Going to try camming this week but don't expect that will generate enough to live on.

I'm in London too. The big problems I have are only doing outcalls and not being able to afford to advertise and having a crap DIY website. Can't even afford to put my number on AW at the moment.

I'm booked up for the next fortnight, more or less; London is a bit bonkers at the moment and my advanced booking special seems to be making my clients happy (just jinxed myself though, I expect!). This may sound like mad advice but because advertising is so important no matter where you are, might it be worth borrowing a very small amount of money for the short-term? Something like ?100? I spent ?90 for 3 months advertising on London-Independents.com and found it very worthwhile. You could spend it on whichever sites work best for you (Adultwork, Punternet, etc). And the remaining ?10+ could go towards a YourEscortSite.com site if you are really honestly in need - I'm sure we could work something out.

On the other hand, my grasp of global economics is murky at best but it would seem particularly true at the moment that risky borrowing is not always a very good idea, so disregard this post if it sounds like a silly idea. I just can't see how a business could improve without any advertising... hmm. Perhaps applying to a parlour or agency would be something to consider?
