The last time I went to Southampton I left early and I have not and will not go back there again. Just like everywhere else, it used to be OK there.

Oh man! I’m due there the end of the month. Tbh if it’s quiet I’ll just leave early. I’m finding though, at the moment, a vast amount of enquires and very few turn into a booking. Or, just a lot of messages or calls where you can clearly tell they’re getting off on messaging you and no intention of booking.

Haven’t been for a while but my last tour there was pretty shit.

I wouldn’t rush to go back especially as hotels aren’t exactly cheap there.

I'm in Newcastle a little up the coast and it's dire here. I'm only 26 and wouldn't say I'm ready to quit yet but I feel like I have to find something else. I'm sick to death of sitting in hotels for days. I've struggled since the start of February to get my phone to ring. I've made money but it's still very bad everywhere I go from my usual. I'm trying to not get upset but I really am. The UK climate is seriously scaring me at the minute

Today has officially made me hit burn out.

Horrendous day in the north east followed by what looks like will be a horrendous time in Edinburgh. The men have fucked me off so badly today I'm about to explode and just cried my eyes out. The past month has been so difficult for me.

That does not sound good. In my experience, the NE was the area in the country which dried out first. I have not been there in the last 2 years for that same reason. Hopefully Edinburgh will be better for you.

So far this week a cancellation on Monday, a no show today and the other guy pre booked for this week has gone quiet leaving me having had just 1x 1hr so far .. pretty pathetic.

Why are things so crap compared to a few years ago? Is it just a case of the damaged economy, people have less disposable income and there are far more women on AW saturating the market?
I have a busy day now and again but I used to be fighting them all off with a stick a few years ago whereas now I can go 3 days without an enquiry

The pandemic brought a tonne of new women into the industry with sites like Onlyfans becoming popular when we were in lockdown and women were making huge amounts back then. I remember seeing that during lockdown the amount of users on onlyfans skyrocketed. I find after this sex work got pushed into the mainstream and it’s a much more accepted line of work now which means there’s a tonne of a lot more women entering the industry then there was years prior that would’ve never considered sex work a viable option for them. This means that competition is a lot higher nowadays and the market is very oversaturated.

The cost of living crisis that seemed to start around 2022 and is still the topic of discussion has further exacerbated this and pushed a lot more women into doing sex work to make ends meet too.

I definitely think those two big events happening in the last 5 years is the reason sex work has become a lot less lucrative nowadays and why it’s a lot more difficult to make money. There’s simply a lot more sex workers than ever now and what’s required seems to be a lot more sadly.

I’m just glad I’ve managed to snag a few regulars over the years it has really helped.
