I feel like my client demand has dropped off a cliff this week! Phone has been very quiet... South East, Berkshire here.

hi, I am based in the city of London I made a loss on Tuesday as I had no booking but the rest of the week I only broke even with one client a day.... very quiet for me. I hope it picks up...

Busy for the past week, and prebookings for the rest of the week. Good start to the year, but usually quiet for me second half of January and most of February.

January blues. No-one has any money  :'(

I work in city of London a few days a week at the minute and I charge full whack, extras, and I'm clearing 3-4k when I leave. Sometimes closer to 5. I can't tell anyone how to do their job but there is a lot of research and personal investment that goes into this job. Any money I made I used to invest in my appearance, outfits, accomodation. Never had a day this year in London where I'm not making less than 1k. Personal investment and research is key to thrive in Central London.

But I have seen a huge decline in regular custom in smaller places like York, Leeds etc. The money is just not there and they expect very low standards (the customers). But I still made money no less than 2/3 clients on a bad day. Never lost money. All I can say is personal investment with your earnings is key.

I believe you, I know it’s very possible numbers. But what I’ll say is not everyone will be suited to that style of working, it would be too physically demanding and stressful to be full whack all day every day

Not all of us can be arsed. I've worked in London for almost seventeen years, lived here for five years (all of them in the City) and I have no need, reason or desire to work at that sort of pace. I work to live; I don't live to work.

Bar that, I think we have an early contender for the 2025 SAAFE Tact And Diplomacy award

I can make 1k a day with a much lower price point, but it kills me and I can manage two days at that volume then I need the rest of the week off!

I’m too old now.

And I never work in London.I get plenty of business in places outside London, where I just don’t want the overheads as a touring escort.
