I do a new selfie front page face pic fairly regularly which stirs up interest.

I've had to work really hard the last couple of weeks to make up for that week it was so hot I couldn't be arsed, but I've thankfully pulled it back although it's so bloody muggy and uncomfortable it's been killing me even though it isn't as warm.

Out of desperation I bought some kind of coconut spray that's supposed to stop my hair frizzing in the humidity and as a result I have dry crispy hair that is now also greasy. I will be a delight tomorrow :D

Hi lush :) I can't put a face pic although I know it would get me more work, I would end up with local guys recognising me when out and about.

Had very busy week with 2 hour bookings but today I only did 1 to cover cost and thankfully he was so nice, I have that horrible beginning of a cold and every muscle aches I feel ancient and getting off the sofa like I'm 80 years old lol

I was dreading this week but it was actually ok but i do get very wet clammy skin it's horrible with the humidity. The apartment I rented luckily was in the shade so not to bad because the fan provided was useless.

I use JVN products and one called Air dry cream that stops my frizz and is not greasy and I use a dry shampoo because my roots gets greasy fast, Its Klorane but I only use it sparingly.

I'm in Farringdon and has been a quiet week because it's end of the month (it always get quiet for me end of the month). Said this.. things have taken a gradual slow dive since the end of the pandemic. So many of my clients are working from home now, others are penny pinching since the increase of bills and mortgage interests. I'm not sure end of the month is a good time to tour in London, then of course I may be wrong (?)

Yes also noticed a downward trajectory. Like yeah, the target is hit most of the time, but inquiries are low or of poor quality, no shows increased, guys who used to punt often don’t do so, and noticed a very clear decline in advance bookings. Used to be 2-4 weeks booked up, now always looking at patchy diary  and more “on the day” or at least day before clients.

It’s being a tough couple of weeks and I hear july and August are less busy due to clients going on family holidays

Been a dead weekend for me in edinburgh outcalls.
1 hour booking from a new reg 😐.

Don't normally work the summer hoping it's better with some bored tourists come fringe festival.

I think it is a lot quieter July and August this year as it is the cost of living crisis plus people cannot get away from office or hybrid jobs. Not everybody goes away thouggh.

Saw just one today which is bad for a Monday. Enquiries very ropey sounding so blocked a fair few. An afternoon one had to cancel so turned off my mobile in disgust at lunch. Got advance bookings for Wed and Fri though.

Thanks for the info, I had no idea, was wondering why the phone was more quiet than normal  ???

I am on a train travelling to a booking, the trains are running. At a main line station some delays due to mechanical failures, passenger medical emergency, only one train I heard cancelled due to staff shortage.

I haven't travelled by train for 2 years, so can't comment on how normal this is. I set off allowing plenty of time.

I only found out about the ASLEF action yesterday, I had looked up strike action before accepting the booking and kept an eye on it last week.
