Very busy day for me had 5 but if I was shattered and could of done 7 but too tired. I have a busy week of bookings, I did a special offer on AW pre-bookings that's worked well for me. I hate sitting around waiting for work so I price myself competitively and get 3 more bookings a day than if I was charging £180-200 and I only offer OW so I'm feeling positive this week. I do sometimes stress over being less than others but then I realise being £££ in profit is better than questioning my worth because I'm cheaper lol luckily still getting nice clients and regulars book me more frequently.
I just wish I had more energy this week after being ill last week. My clients are aged from 34 upwards or the virgins and first timers, I don't attract the young studs lol.

I find the summer brings new and one timers who are getting randy seeing women wearing less so summer hols are not too quiet but I prefer to work less when it's hot, Got two fans on the go.

Do other people find the summer holidays quiet generally?

Over the last years - very busy.

This year - advance bookings noticeably dropped, mostly catching guys on the day.

so it is definitely changing…

That's interesting; I think I've noticed things being crapper this year just generally, or more up and down I should say, than my previous years.

I think the 'payday week' effect depends a lot on things like location and punter demographic - it makes no difference to me since the punters near me don't tend to live in this month-to-month/hand to mouth way, and anyone who sees a lot of the retired blokes similarly isn't going to notice a difference.

Back in my old location it wasn't uncommon for people to be paid weekly, so not much of an effect there either :)

Funny you should say that in all my time of working i never noticed any difference in pay day or not and never noticed the 3rd week was quieter. It is only really recent i seen a difference with the 3rd week in a month being bad but like you say it depends what locations you work in and london wpuld have plenty of men that do not live week by week.

Yea payday used to effect me when I was younger and worked in the cheap parlours and it was a lot of working class and younger guys, but since going indie, I don't notice it anymore. This week has been OK; would have liked it to been busier but then again I have a bit of a UTI so its prob been a good thing.

Best week for ages and I had to push myself to keep going, Tried Brentwood as a new location and really happy I did, used a local hotelehich turned out great with a swimming pool. Maybe it's just a busy week anyway but felt like before covid for me so that's a positive. But also I've reduced my rate slightly and it's definitely a factor in getting more work for me anyway, I'm very much girl next door. So I'm thinking post covid it's getting better.

Hi,

Do you ladies think there might be a slowdown towards autumn/winter with all that’s going on?

Definitely slowing down here in terms of advance bookings, which I attribute to energy bills, fuel prices and general inflation and uncertainty. And it’s not even a time when they have to heat their houses up for cold seasons…

Nope. But then I don't take advance bookings :).
