I understand that, but once you lower your prices, it can be hard to reinstate them. Also, someone watch profiles and if they notice you lowering them, they will haggle for a further reduction.

Rather than drop your prices you could try marketing it as a special offer for Xmas

Say book an hour and get an extra 30 mins for half price or a 10% off for all bookings over 2 hours etc or something that makes them feel they are getting something special without you having to drop your prices and then have a fight putting them back up

I don't know what to say, I have days when my phone rings non stop and then days where i barely get a text.
I would say my prices are normal for the area, but I've seen lower than mine.

I think it is just up and down atm one week ok one week not. It's up to you if you want to drop prices of course but i would suspect your prices are fine. The way i look at it a 10 or 20 pound price drop don't always make much difference if there spending anyway on escorts.

If it's any comfort I am experiencing just the same as you describe regarding the polar opposite nature of calls/texts from one day to the next and the way this thread is reading recently I think many others are too.
I very much doubt it has anything to do with your pricing as you say you still have days when the phone rings none stop. It's just a bit of a weird time we are all going through just now but, as with all things, I'm sure it will pass.
I wouldn't lower your rates but as someone else suggested, maybe market it as a short term offer if you are really worried and need to get some cash in quick then you have the option to go back to normal rates when you choose.

I wasn't planning to lower them permanently, was thinking more of a december offer something like that.

I hope it will pick up for everyone so we don't have to worry anymore.

Dont reduce your prices. Maybe you could do a special offer on certain days of the week, or for certain times of the day. Or even start doing 15 min bookings. That way you can still make your targets , and pay your rent and bills. Don't panic ladies, I think its just a quiet month. I am normally really busy, and I have been extremely quiet this month. 1 -2 client a day......sometimes none at all. I am going to do some special offers myself, and test what works.

I think it is slower because of the cost of living having gone up. It won't be just Black Friday. That is what I think anyway!

The days of busy all day are gone. Unless we tour.

The economy just isn't buoyant. Everything going up. I am talking in general as some may still be ok.

I'm more of a receptionist than an escort at the moment. I've just been answering a fuck load of emails with a bunch of time wasters and freebie hunters.

These men are seriously deluded! They actually think there special! I was having a look on AW earlier and I noticed a lot of ladies have increased their prices which I'm guessing is due to cost of living increasing plus loss of earnings over the past year and a bit.

I have introduced a special for advance bookings only. I have found it is working really well and definitely made me a lot busier and had enable me to plan my time and diary accordingly. I think people are still cautious of the virus and getting back ‘to normal’ I have also seen ladies advertising specials for certain days and returning clients. Being proactive always helps and I find blogs on adultwork help with returning custom. My takings for November 2021, in comparison with November 2019 are £1500 ish down 😱. Think I’m averaging 3 clients per day, sometimes more. This is only short term, things will get back if not better. X

Thanks Blossom_midlands those are great ideas!

I'm not looking to lower my prices but offering specials for advanced bookings would be a great idea in terms of extra time rather than hourly discounts as I'm low volume anyway and clients always end up staying past the allotted hour.
