I don’t think it’s an age thing there are lots of different factors in why one person is busy and another isn’t
If you only do a vanilla GFE service and there is nothing wrong that then possibly you won’t be as busy as someone who offers more stuff
If you have limited hours /days of work you probably won’t make as much as someone who can work 5 days
If you don’t take short notice bookings and need two hours notice you may lose work to the escorts that can take bookings with 15 mins notice
If your in an area that has lots of escorts massage parlours that can make a difference as well
   
  When I’m touring I can take bookings with 15 mins notice and I get a lot of bookings short notice
When I’m at home as I’m often not at my flat I often need more notice so I get less work
If I sat in my flat 10-7pm then I am sure I would be busy but when I’m at home I’m lazy

I agree with the stuff about making sure your advertising is up to date, widespread and effective, but whilst at least some of the above will make a difference, a lot of it - things like limited availablility or not being able to do short notice bookings - isn't a choice for many people (as SWG has just posted while I was typing) and I think the comments above are objecting to the suggestion that if anybody is struggling it must be their own fault for not trying hard enough. The point has been made, so we can keep it general now.

I'm sure Rudi is just trying to be encouraging and make useful suggestions - when you're not that familiar with message boards it's easy to not realise that nuance and tone are easily lost in writing in the same way they can be in texts and emails, and it's not always obvious when you're coming across as insufferably patronising, self-centred and smug rather than helpful .

Rudi i do not believe if you put in maximum effort you will never have a quiet day. You can be beautiful look good on photos charge a good price too and get regulars, work for years and never have a bad day? I have never heard of it or know anybody that has been in this industry for years and ticks all the boxes and is busy every single day. Putting in maximum effort of course helps but it will never guarantee you a busy day every day for say 15 or 20 years in the business not possible.

Exactly. As with any business some of your success will be about your effort, some of it will be about the market, the state of the economy, things you can't always change, as Paris says, like how many hours you can give over, your location and so forth. Also putting in 100% effort might be great in the short term, but could compromise your wellbeing in the long, same as any other job. And if when you have a slow week it does help to improve ads etc but it doesn't help to self blame or fret. Have money put aside for slow weeks and use them to do other things that give you pleasure and help you rejuvenate  I'd rather be slow now and then than have all of my waking life taken up in thoughts of 'productivity'.

Rudi, you have some excellent points but the bottom line is ~ IMO ~ we're considered a luxury service & those are the 1st things to go when ppl are tightening their financial belts. I ask bc the last half of 2018 was a virtual nightmare here, smh. The clients didn't know where to find us, the providers didn't know where to post their ads, & I spent a good chunk of my savings simply trying to keep my head above water. Not a fun time here, I assure you. My point Rudi, is you would not have been busy. No one was.

There's too many variables here. I don't believe that any business is successful 100% of the time, 24/7 & if they are, someone's cooking the books🤷🏼‍♀️ & our IRS will soon be paying a call to them.

I do agree with you escort service a luxury there are ups and downs.
The past two weeks for me was dead as f...k which I have to work till silly hours to be saved by one coke client make up for quiet incall days on tour.

I know there's split opinions on this, but all other factors aside, I do feel Brexit and the economic situation in general is having an impact, just because both firms/employers and people are holding on to money due to the uncertainty. I have a friend in the B&B sector and he and all his local rivals have had a poor year. Another owns a bike shop and people are buying fewer, and lower priced, cycles.

A bloke can often get over the urge to punt with a wank or 5-10 minutes on cam. For anyone who's really suffering a slow time my advice would be to try and maximise your chances of last-minute bookings by being able to be ready within 30 minutes, or to take a tenner off your prices (or get them to e.g. 120 or 150 ph depending on what's standard in your area and/or the services you offer).

I had to say no to a couple clients, a big 2-hour booking last week due to handling my own personal outside of escorting appointments. I was so disappointed.

I swear, some clients, they must follow your ads, because, when I don't update my ad, that's when I get text messages asking if I'm available lol.

The world right now is pretty messed up. I know that's probably been said for generations, but in Canada, I just saw on the news, that Canadians are going into more debt than ever before just to cover basic expenses (we can thank our joke of a government).

I also, need to pay more attention to the effort I am putting in when clients do book. I'll admit, I haven't been really into it. I've been treating it more like a job, same lingerie (although I do change but I keep the same handful that I wear because they are easy to take on and off lol). So, I will make sure I can do that. It just gets hard sometimes lol, but you are right you have to pretend to be into it even if you aren't unfortunately lol.

I still don't like the concept of posting new pictures all the time. I feel like this might ruin the mystery of meeting you in person. Plus, I don't want a bunch of freeloaders jerking off to my pictures and never coming to visit. Twitter, current pics, etc. seem to work for some ladies though. I guess I'm just not creative lol. It's like come on, just come see me, you will not be disappointed.
