Thing is you can't guarantee anyone will turn up so if you have transport costs they have to be accepted. Can you not use public transport, have set hours in which you'll be there then you aren't forking out on taxis at the last minute?A good confirmation and screening procedure is well worth concentrating on even if it means turning down bookings. Better a missed booking, then accept one that does turn up then running around clocking up costs on the off chance someone will turn up.

Surely one of the few benefits of being with an agency is to cut out all that crap with tw's etc. They have got to do something to justify taking their cut from your earnings!  If the agency are costing you money and not making you money (as well as putting your safety at risk by blatantly not having decent screening/confirmation procedures) then you should really think about working for yourself. Especially if you are paying for your own pics.

I say f*ck em, don't let them have any of your pics or have any right to them and use them to go inependent. 

Many girls go with agencies because they don't have incall availability of their own or just want to do outcalls and save on the stress of taking calls etc.  IMO it is a false sense of security, but each to their own.

Agencies, to the best of my knowledge, carry out NO SAFETY PROCEDURE SCREENING.  AFAIK they just give girls the details of the client and location.  Ive read some horror stories on here re what has happened to them.  The girls are not usually (AFAIK) not even given a contact number, not even a mobile number, so if they get lost they are well and truly up the Clyde without a paddle. 

As most of us here are independent and don't have to put up with the hassles of an agency, we don't hear all the horror stories, or the downsides of agency work, but it do exist, whether we like it or not.

What do they get their money for ?  Apart from handing over a name and address (hotel or home) I have absolutely no idea.

That is quite normal when you are new Inna, when I started many years ago the same thing happened to me but you will find out, although she has seen a few clients, that 99.9% of the guys will be timewasters who are just using the 'notify me when someone new joins' feature on the site.
 
I was in my 50's when I started and im no stick insect so being young, fit and pretty cant be used as an excuse.  Even if she doesn't manage to filter the wheat from the chaff at first she will do in the end, even if she has a few no shows.

I would advise her though to not spend a lot of time replying to what appear to be 'eejits' as that can be very time consuming and if she is going to be busy she cant afford to be wasting time on timewasters.

I was thinking the same but at least it has got her off to a good start...

My friend [removed] has just started working openly rather than by word of mouth... so she starts work on a AW profile by putting in some text etc... so NO photos NO Feedback... NO Phone number...

In three days she has had more than 400 emails and enquiries ... now she has put up some homemade photos.  I know she is "new" but really...

She saw her first AW client yesterday... 20 mins after leaving after a 1 hr appointment the guy is calling back asking to come back for a second hour... !

I could spit...




She is a Naragvadhu and really sweet and pretty but wtf...

Otherwise everything is Surbiton seems to be picking up...

I would advise her to get a website and still do other advertising adultwork is away great initially and then for many it can be a slow painful death  and as we have all seen its not he most reliable site ATM for going down for a few days

But it's hard  to imagine it being quiet and slow when your new and just starting out

I think I'm experiencing the slow death by AW!
I'm unbelievably poor this month, I've lowered my hourly rate by ?20, put up a few selfies and changed my description bar at the top to try and drum up some interest but it's just not working, I'd like a booking before Friday but nothing. Going out of my mind!
I know an full-time lady came to my town on a tour recently for a couple of nights so I didn't expect any bookings while she was here but I was hoping now she's gone I'd attract some clients
Any tips would be appreciated, I don't want to lower my rate any more, maybe a few more pictures?
