How many guys have the necessary readies in their back pocket though?

To be honest I didn't charge my ad fee I left it up to them to say what they were prepared to pay,if it meant going to the ATM first we did that and you'd be suprised how many men do have quite a bit in their back pocket probably because some are out there horny hoping to pay for sex. Most of the time I got most of what I did charge on my ads give or take ?20 less, that's not a problem I was still making money.
Hello nice to meet you :)

Tell them you'll accompany them to the cashpoint before making your way to your/his place.  As Jan10 mentioned in the opening lines of her last post, you'll be surprised by many guys will be prepared to meet a girl when they are out with colleagues or entertaining business clients or even on there own.  It's definitely worth a try if you want to branch out

I dont think the lack of business is confined to ROI or NI.  From many of the posts on here alone it is countrywide.  If guys dont have the money they simply cant spend it.

It's worldwide...the US is slow as all hell too. But I do have some regulars in other locations who do book. Locally, even my regulars aren't booking anymore but I attribute that more to just things 'wore off' more than it having to do with money to spend. I think every year or 2, it's time to relocate. Otherwise you have to wait for things to replenish itself which can take damn near forever.

If I move, I wouldn't consider touring here again until a SIGNIFICANT amount of time has passed. Like 2 years minimum and it'd just be to pass thru. But it's weird, last year I visited a town and didn't get any clients from the area. Between Christmas and New Years I toured the same area and the clients just kept coming. I left with people still wanting to book. Maybe those new pictures pushed me over the edge LOL.

Real-life marketing is one of the best ways. I once met a guy at a bar and showed him my ad website on my phone LOL. He wasn't willing to pay that rate but he did go for a lower rate, but he was so easy and vanilla and the sex wasn't bad at all. The issue was, he was intoxicated and paranoid so we didn't end up doing it that night...but had exchanged information and met later that week.

When I started out I did it more often but haven't now since last Easter lol. Partly due to I live in a more conservative city now versus South Beach Miami where men would drive up next to you and solicit. In addition, it can be annoying haggling over rates and some guys get butthurt when you mention you're for pay and I don't ever want anyone tipping me off although I've never had a case where someone has complained..because the key is to let them approach you, not you go up to them.

I have made good use out of quieter times now thinking about different ways of enhancing business. Like drawing up a plan and researching. Is any one else kind of making a positive out of slow times?. Now things look a lot clearer now.

its hard to stay positive when not crap is happening. I just feel so unmotivated. I've started taking iron supplements because I think I've become anemic due to the stress. i was just telling a friend earlier I'm just so frustrated. I had someone tell me (in a sort of "you're the problem" sort of way that how can I not possibly meet a client in a city of over 1,000,000 including all the suburbs.

I'm like you dummy...sure there are 1 million people but most can't afford it, others don't believe in it, others I'm not their type, others like older, others don't see men, others have no clue about the websites...there's a plethora of reasons why. I've done all I can on my part. what more can I do? cut off my nose to spite my face?

Last week was very slow, i set aside Friday to work and arranged three bookings with regulars, unfortunately all 3 cancelled due to the snow, one only 10 mins before when I'd already checked in and paid for the room! :( Didn't think it was too bad then the others cancelled too! Managed to get a shorter booking  later on which covered the room but after petrol and some food I arrived home making a not so huge profit of 5 pounds!  :FF  As a total contrast, got two longer bookings with my partner on Sun 13th, didnt originally fancy it so quoted a bit more and ended up walking away with 800!! Great when he does most of the work lol  ;D Think that was out the ordinary though as its been dead since then, but dont you hate it when you say you're working one day and get nothing then get loads of messages the next day when you're not free?!

Whenever I have to do incalls for a client or clients, I try to ask for a deposit before getting the room. Too easy for them to cancel. Especially if it seems like there's some 'circumstances' brewing on their end or in the weather that may make them cancel. I play the, "I'm too poor to afford a hotel room" game. Not all the time, but sometimes. just depends.

I had 1 client meet me at a hotel and give me the money for the room before I even booked it. Normally I'd of booked a room online, but he knew of an econo lodge and was going to check in himself but I had wanted to spend the night since I was still 600 miles from home lol. I'm like I didn't want to get a hotel in bum-fuck town and him not show up.

I just think that pre Christmas slowness we were all getting and the post Christmas usual deadness is just kicking in like it always does.

I may use the time to build a new profile

January has been pretty dire as I expected, but then I wasn't working the first two weeks anyway due to illness and the monthlies, you could tell it was pay day last week though! Still not mega busy by other's standards but enough for me. Time to see what February brings!  ::) Fortunately for me my regulars are the type who don't struggle too much at this time of year!

January was very good for me (not as boooooming as december!). End of January business died (as in slow death). I'm finding February veeeery slow. If this is begining of the month I don't even want to know how the second half the month is going to look like! Football is not helping either.

Every year same story with february  :(

I'm having the busiest month I've ever had! I put up my prices, tweaked my profiles and advertised a couple other places and I'm unable to take all the work I'm being offered as I'm very part time. I'm not use to this...I use to be lucky to get one booking a month!
