Yeah not too concerned when I have all day to work but when you have just half day and then away for 4 days....you do panic! This week has been crap. Monday and Tuesday just about made daily target, yesterday was under and now today nothing!!!  ??? ??? Got to be the heat surely?

Trying to not let it get me down. Got my exciting weekend away to look forward to  ;D

Hope you are well xx

It seems like one day is quiet then the next day your rushed off your feet, I prefer it to be steady.

Yes I agree. I always have a limit on how many clients I see per day so its just as frustrating as too many, as well as none! sigh. The major down and con of this 'profession'  :o

Not that busy last few days  :-\
This morning I had a client, saw him second time. Very friendly chap.
I took the money upfront, but didn't count it, because he's so friendly, right?
I just checked it now and it's £40 short. How many times do I have to get underpaid before I finally learn to count the money EVERY SINGLE TIME with EVERY SINGLE CLIENT. :FF  :FF :FF FFs

If they know you do not count it they will usually short change you knowing they can get away with it because you do not count it if they seen you before had a friend that seen a guy she seen 3 times each time she never counted it started off 20 short then 40 then 60 short it was only after the third time she decided to act on it and tell him and count it. Shocking but true.

I always count the money in front of them and if they are new I tell them that I'm just checking that they haven't inadvertently overpaid me as it has happened on occasions. Seems to work for me.

Work wise at the moment it's just a slow drip of clients with the occasional outburst of time wasters. Had a sudden upsurge in people wanting to cum twice during a booking, even my regulars are asking. I think the hot weather is to blame!

Absolutely AGREE with this Count every SINGLE time!!
It has happened to me various times too until I aknowledged the more you see someone, yes even those really nice, friendly ones
the MORE likely they are to do this unfortunately
and i've no doubt it's on purpose
I always now say 'how much is there'  and let them say, and then check it, often at that point they will 'admit' it by saying 'oh 130' and i'll say 'it should be 150' etc and funnily enough they always seem to have the extra amount to hand :)

Maybe one day I will finally get to my head the idea that I don't have to behave like a nice helpful doormat to be liked and respected  :FF Maybe I don't even have to be liked; respected is enough  :FF

Yes, EG, thanks for the life example!

You can be nice and helpful without being viewed as a doormat and perhaps you need to be liked (in this job) to be respected ?

I still sometimes feel a tiny bit uncomfortable watching them count out the money and asking for it if they have forgotten but it does not stop me doing it. Any cash transaction for any business and the money is checked by the receiver so no different with us but there is a nice way to do it and I make a little joke about it (known only to me and them) as I ask for the money.

Oops just remembered this is the "slow" thread   ::)  so I can say that today has not only been slow it ground to a halt mid morning. Phone has forgotten how to ring.  Last Monday I did very well.   ???

I did very well in the West Midlands the last few days. Even Saturday with the match on, I took several hours off between 2pm-5pm for errands and to hang out with a friend and still made my "regular" target for the day. (I have a stretch target and a regular.)

Re: counting - I count every time, always. I do count very quickly as I used to work in a cash office and when you're counting several thousand pounds several times a day, you learn to be quick! I've only ever had a couple of comments and I just say "Well several times clients have given me too much money and they've definitely been grateful that I've counted it and handed it back!" (which is absolutely true.)
And me, I am not a mess, I am a wilderness, yes

I don't explain why I'm counting it, if they don't count it out to me then I'll count it back in front of them AND scan the notes with my UV light... the only ones who moan are the pompous old bastards who say 'you won't need to check it next time will you?' No mate, there won't be a next time!  ;D  >:D

I would be gutted if I didn't count it and it was short. Bet nobody's ever not counted it and it's been over...

Don't thing counting the money has anything to do with the topic?

July is usually my busiest month and is ok despite the heat and the footie.
I love footie and am gripped! - if we win the World Cup on Sunday, I bet you we will all be busy for a long time!
