I used to cam years ago and hated it and never made much money, not tried on adultwork though maybe its worth another try..

I was the same. Cammed but never on AW. Did it for a year. Now I just use AW to escort.

So things have been extremely quiet over the past month in the East Midlands for me. I've never struggled to get at least 6-7 bookings every week come through minimum. But it just stopped all of a sudden. I've had a look on adultwork just now and there's about 20 new profiles in the area I work of young foreign girls with amazing bodies charging ?90 an hour. They all have feedbacks from men I've seen before too. All makes sense now! Guessing I'll have to lower my rates to compete or start touring regularly to different areas :-/

It is looking that way for me too, touring to see if things pick up. This is the last thing I want to do. In my young days it was ok at hotels. Soon I will take the plunge I think.

Its the same everywhere tho some areas are hit worse than others. West/East Sussex has been flooded with young foreign girls who charge impossibly low rates, not just on AW but all the local sites too. Seems to have got worse the past year.

It's a toughie. I am going to be touring over the summer.

I've had a nightmare week. Booked and prepaid a hotel for incalls, got there and it was an absolute shit hole, seriously embarrassed to see clients there. Seen one advanced booked 30 mins as couldn't get in touch to cancel, so made a small loss there overall. Have hotels booked for tomorrow and next week with nothing booked so might just cancel.

Also touring Glasgow soon and only have two bookings in. Overheads are covered but I'm still panicking, don't want to rely on last minute bookings.

Looks like it might be the slowest month in the last 1.5 year for me. And here I got all optimistic after fairly good Jan-April. ::)

Not a great week.

Ended up 8 miles out of the city centre of Bristol and it was dead.
To far for anyone to sneak off in their lunch break,But I also did a check of competition- which I must say I very rarely do.
And I was literally double even triple some of the young EE's prices.
And I'm not particularly high rate at 80/140
Eventually took a load of services off my likes list and offered ?100ph just so I could make a profit--and it didn't make a blind bit of difference, as the guys that did see me were going to see me anyway.
So lower prices didn't work.

Cannot compete with low rates. My over heads are simply to high.
I'll be damned if I have to see 2 clients to cover my daily expenses.

Best to have a clear opinion and your candid opinion is great, Lushblossom.  Turkish next, I believe. How could that be possible? Poor migrants will put far more strains on penniless NHS hospitals and public services.  House price did dramatically go up for the past 10 years.  I often notice more EU citizens (from the European continent) were buying UK properties.  Now, UK first buyers can't afford any (especially in the South).

I know this is off topic and apologise for this Amy, but when I was in Brum a two months ago, one of my clients was a government auditor and he informed me that 2018 we will be hit by a huge recession again, hence why councils are not paying out for much or making many improvements and why ct has gone up they are trying to ensure they have enough money in the banks to see them through the next few years.  So all this bullshit we are being fed by Osbourne about house prices slumping etc in 2 years time is goin to be happening anyway.
