My phones have rung steadily all day - more from Vivastreet and Backpage than AW - but I am really just not in the mood. I saw one client to cover the cost of tonight's hotel here in Liverpool but I have told myself that I begin properly tomorrow.

I keep telling perfectly nice-sounding guys that I'm all booked up for the night. All I want to do is go sit in a pub and read a book.

So that is what I will do.

How does this work in terms of phones, do you have 3 different phone numbers? (so you know/can monitor where your calls are coming from, i.e., where your advertising is working) -- or do you have one phone that is a dual sim one, in which case you have 2 phones instead of 3. (If so, still sounds like a bit of bother to me, I'd probably end up getting in a pickle - look farcical rummaging around and answer the wrong one lol)... just curious how you manage it.

this drives me crazy

I can almost guarantee my phone will ring when

* I'm on another booking
* I'm having a shower
* I'm on the loo
* I drive away from my incall flat
* I'm at the Gym

I'm sue there are other times, but the days I decide to 'hang around' at the flat for a while nothing, nada, zilch ........ UNTIL like today I drove off, 5 mins down the road phone rang

If it's a newbie I always ask where they got my number from. Quite a lot say anyway.

I have two phones - one for AW (as well as my website and a couple of other directories that don't do much for me) and one for Vivastreet and Backpage. If that phone rings, I know they're calling from one of those two and I can ask which one they found me on. On my main (aw) phone, if they don't know it was AW it can be a bit of a guess where it came from but it's almost always AW, anyway.

If it was all the same number, there'd be no way of getting them to know where they found me. "Um on the inter webs?" So two phones narrows it down, some. And I don't always use back page. Sometimes I just want to turn off the Vivastreet phone as it can be a bit disheartening to have twenty thickos in a row ask me "how much just for a suck?"

I have a separate number on my AW profile
And I have a different number for my website
I used to have a different number for viva st but since they started allowing you to put a website link I don't bother and just use my website number

however I do put my website on AW so guys will often click through and get my website number

I only use iPhones though so every number I save on one phone syncs to the other one which is useful

I get a lot if work from viva st ,backpage and my own website as well as AW
