I've had 2 bookings since Christmas! Everyone was paid early in December, and then with Christmas expenses and waiting an extra week for pay day, Jan has been awful. I've had a few bookings come through today with guys saying they've had a horrendous month and need cheering up...so here's hoping they don't cancel!
I'm sure things will pick up soon, though the recession is hitting eveyone, and us being quite a luxury item are often the first to go. I know a few of my regulars are going to swinging parties as they get 4 hours for ?70 and a choice of girls. :-(
I'm also looking for a 'normal' job, as I can't go on with the uncertainty:-(

February half-term is the quietest time ever. I often put it down to the fact a lot of families go skiing at that time with the children.

I've been looking for a second job to make sure theres money in the quiet spots. Bookings
do seem to be picking up a bit, and I'm trying to focusing on giving each client the best service
so they leave happy and wanting more of me.
I think the news is worrying people, jobs going all over the place and general belt tightening
going on.
Like Jodie said, its important to earn money form these bookings and spend as carefully as possible.

I've got to admit that bookings havent slowed down this year as much as they have in previous years. I'm still managing to see 5/6 on each day that I'm working so I cant complain. Hope it keeps up !

?? I don't get that a week! I've had 3 this week and it's the best week I've had in ages! But I only can do out calls so I guess that's the main reason.

I agree. I had a complete twat walk out on me the other day because I was 'too slim.' Me 'well, did you look at my photos before?' Twat 'No'. I had been around town shopping for some much needed things, got a call from my agy 'can you see this guy in 45 mins?' So I rushed home, shower, makeup etc, tidied the flat, then the prick comes in and says that! Completely buggered up my day.

Whats worse is it was my first ever booking with this agency I've just joined, so it looked reaaally bad on me! Just my luck. I completely agree Friday, these losers forget this is our lives they mess about with.

If it was me I would have asked him for 20 pounds for the inconvenience, then he'd think twice about pissing people about or just turning up for a perv in future! TWAT

Absolutely agree. If you miss a dentist appointment you still have to pay a fee! Makes me sick how they just cancel last minute. The times I've turned down other bookings then have some idiot cancel last minute and leave me out of pocket. I've got a family to support! Grrrrr

As a masseuse my x-mas was booooooooming!!!

Begining of Jan it sort of slowed down but was still good. End of January was a horror show. First 10 days of February have been very slow and I've been seeing 6 clients a week when my expected cuota is between 7 minimum and 10 clients maximum a week (I never like to see more than 10 because I get burned out). So i decided I'm not going to get upset and just "chill" this month and have more time to do fun stuff, like going to movies or museums etc.. Business will pick up begining of next month.

Monday I got a call from a withheld number I told him he can make a booking but he has to call me back showing his number, he told me that he only has this phone and it's his work phone. Yeah, right...
Next day I had someone who booked but didn't confirm, yesterday a no-show.
I'm looking forward to this day

In times like this I just feel it will never end and I won't have a proper booking in the next hundred years...

OMG - 5-6 a day!!!!!! Been so dead - the February thing - only had 3 jobs in 2 weeks. Been doing the gardening -at least weather was mild.

I only work 4 days a week ladies ................ perhaps this is the reason.

The rest of my week is family time and ME time.

I very rarely work weekends. My response to guys who ask for weekends is 'if you work Saturday would you want paid time and a half and if working Sunday you would want double time wouldnt you ............' soon shuts them up and they manage to find a time during the week to come along.

Back to the grind tomorrow !!! Whoooooooooooooops, just looked at the time ............ today !!

Absolutley maddening isnt it, and when your self esteem is ragged from cancellations
you get bookings so close you can taste them, then they vapourise as quickly as they appeared.

I'd laugh about it but actually it could have been serious at the time....got to a hotel after quite a long drive and the client pays for the room...we go through to the room and he says I haven't got any money...then though
apologetically tries to get me to "give him something anyway"....to which while calculating how much time
money I had wasted driving there...decided to negotiate my way out...to which he throws a tenner on the bed and
runs out the door.....sigh....so at least I covered some fuel...and the day improved with a domme session
and an outcall....so I got lucky otherwise I would have been cross but philosophical
