I really think this year has been very on off for a lot of people, indies, parlour & agencies. The  UK isn't out of the recession & we've had sport, after sport, after sport! Every business suffers during times like this, so it's not personal against you. I can & do totally understand that it can really make you feel like that, after all our product is well us. So like every business when it gets slow you review your stock so to speak.

So I guess what I 'm trying to say is chin up & be kind to your self, plus here's some cyber hugs H xxx

If you do outcalls could you change the city/towns that you regularly advertise in?
I travel the north west but always stuck to Manchester when having to select one city location.
As I live slightly nearer to Liverpool, I changed the location,popped in an L1 postcode and several weeks later am still seeing all the interest that a *newbie* gets and business isn't bad again!
You could be in a city with a saturated market ( like Manchester is ) so a bit of research on the main sites would show you what you are up against, price-wise/services offered etc.

This month has been the worst ever.  I am down 60% on the same time last month and 20% down on a normal month.

I have done more advertising but to no avail.  It has been sooooo hot I have not wanted to work even if it was there.  Assume the punters feel the same.

Hi guys, I've had a really quiet few weeks and am getting quite worried . I've been escorting for about 3/4 months now and have always been busy, right from the start.
Then suddenly about three weeks ago everything went quiet. I went from having 2 hr+ bookings regularly, at least one overnight a week and generally having more work than I can cope with, to having days on end with out a single enquiry.
I got really paranoid and thought someone must have put up a bad review of me somewhere, but I've looked on every review site I can think of and cant find anything.
Has anyone else experience anything like this? I'm really hoping things go back to normal soon as my rent is two weeks late as it is. If things dont pick up I'm going to have to join an agency, which is something I swore I'd never do.
Anybody got any advice? kim xxx

Also, I think a few million public sector workers have been told that they are at risk of redundancy over the next financial year.   I hope we aren't due another downturn in the recession..

I feel so sorry for you it's really quietened down. I've just come back after having 6 months off due to illness, I'm absolutely so skint it's unbelievable. Now there are the summer holidays coming up, will this recession ever end!?

My God, 2nd post like this one for the week    (but thanks for ranting for me, as SAAFE seems to ignore mine nowadays)

At first I thought it was just me, but seems there is a virus going around. Vaccinations anyone    Its been very slow here for me. Earlier this month I made rent money in 1 weekend, but now Im struggling to get by, and feel lucky to have gotten the luxury to pay my gym membership this month and get an oil change.

And my damn apartment complex keeps calling me about a friggin late rent payment of $100, which I dont have! If I had the money, I would give it to them, but I dont. I havent been getting any clients lately. Its been down to 2 per week at the moment.
