Hammered it down to Leicester and done one job. Hanging my heels up this week now and going home until after valentines and half term. Feel like I’m just driving around the country to cover hotels right now making hundred pound here and there. Had a terrible tour but did make my rent so always a silver lining.

I'm in central London and it is dead with a capital D. I'm not even getting texts from timewasters. Literally only 2-3 messages a day. I'm not expecting to be hammered but this is even quieter than during covid  :/ Are people just not coming to central London anymore?

It's quiet in North London the last two days and I'm low volume - - so it must be quiet in London as my friend has only one client all week and she's in Central London

Yep it's truly dire. And I've had so many guys who send a text, then ghost when I reply. Like why?!? Literally what is the point?

It’s absolutely terrible everywhere thank god we have each other to tell so we don’t take it personally. I don’t know where I would be without this site.

I do definitely feel like uk is in a recession. I have very few jobs no matter where I go or what I try marketing wise.

Lara, are you in a fixed location or are you working from hotels so you can move around? There's a steady stream over here in the City as always, although I realise it's hellishly expensive to find a place to work if you don't live or have a flat here, so it's not as easy as just wandering over.

Last week was monumentally shite, having said that.

I usually split my time between Westminster and the City, I tour in London so don't have a permanent flat. The rent can be extortionate especially as a lot of hotels/ apartments do dynamic pricing. One week itll be £700, the next nearly £2k! I really thought I'd do okay this week in Westminster- I usually always get a few businessmen but even theyre not reaching out. Usually February is bad for me in the City. I think it's just pot luck location wise at the moment. Ive had some amazing weeks in the City, but then I'll have weeks where, again I'll do nothing :/
