I think the nature of the beast is that at the beginning when we start prossying we think every week is going to be like a good week and because we are new we do get more work in.  Sadly this isnt always the case as the newbies will find out in the next few months.

We must learn to save for the months when work is thin on the ground and it seems to be starting earlier this year for some and usually goes on until end of February.  Here is hoping im wrong.

i had the newbie buzz when i first started but i knew there was going to come a time it would all calm down. i agree with eveyone to look ahead and plan for the future and save a little every time

Yeah your popularity usually lasts on AW for a year or two (two if you are lucky), that is why I usually suggest to girls to get themselves listed onto other sites so that when the work on AW does go a bit drier than they are used to they may still get calls from the other sites.

Guys may start going into "panic mode" at the thought of being stuck at home with "her indoors" and come out to play but we just cant count on it.  It is usually busy up to a few days before Christmas Day as guys usually have the excuse to get away (going christmas shopping for the mrs) but it doesnt seem to be working that way this year.

No because then you will just say that about next year and there will be loads more 'reasons' yet there are some girls still getting dozens of bookings every week! I think this year has been pretty good over all. I haven't noticed any difference in the last couple of weeks or months for that matter. There seems to be a slight increase in calls around 'pay day' but it definitely hasn't been dead for the two weeks running up to it like someone said.

Wow I done 4 bookings from 7pm, finished at 3am this morning what a result. I can relax more tomorrow now the rent money is together. Normally late nights is off the agenda, but being quiet all day had to put more effort in.

It just gets extremely tiresome when I have friends who never have a problem or hardly, so I don't believe these reasons exist for everyone. Yeah some times of the year and events contribute towards it being slow but I do think it's more down to the individual, their profile, rates and area they are in as I've said before.
