A decent result! Do you mind me asking though, if he paid up front for 1.5 hrs how did you get the extra payment when he decided to extend by more than double?  I haven't had such an extension myself during a booking but have had many pre arranged long bookings of 3 or more hours. ( these days I no longer offer them as it would be my worst nightmare 😱)

Thank you, Justine! Yes, this booking saved my bacon.
He came for 1.5 hours (paid up front) and after an hour or so asked if we can extend. He didn't specify for how long, I should have taken the money at that point but didn't, to be honest. We carried on for another 1.5 hours at which point I asked how long he wants to stay. We agreed on the time. He paid me the extra money at the end of the booking. NOT a proper way of doing things on my part, I know. Luckily, it worked out.
(Edit: I think the reason he extended was that he didn't want to be alone at midnight.)

In the meantime, I fucked over a guy, who was supposed to come for 30min.
I was worried he was waiting somewhere around while I was extending the other booking.
I checked my phone afterwards and it turned out that he fucked me over back as was a no-show.
Pardon the profanities.

Like Justine I worked really hard in December and I've mostly taken this week off for a rest - I thought last week would be crap and it was crazy busy so I've swapped them over, since the train strikes would likely make things quiet if I was working anyway. I've taken a few preliminary ones for next week so I'll just have to pull my finger out when they all come back :D

Totally dead for me last week but thankfully since yesterday had 2 each day and had to turn others away because of booking time clashes, already have a reg booked for Sunday so hopefully it will continue although I've often found things slow right down in Feb usually.

Very slow. Usually have way more advanced bookings but hardly have any and not really getting same day bookings either. This was supposed to be a big part of my monthly income, so I'm worried.

I was so worried at Christmas time thinking I wasn't going to have much work for a while but I've been really busy - I don't know where they've all come from!

February is usually my quietest month, so I'm trying to make the most of things now before then.
