Denise, when you say you're in the City are you talking about the actual City of London/Square Mile? I'm here too and whilst I don't go for high volume, I'm doing fine with 2/3/4 bookings a day consistently and turning down plenty on top of that; I only did one today, but that was because I was busy yesterday and couldn't be arsed. It wouldn't do some posters any harm to remember that just because a place is a particular way for them, doesn't mean it is for everyone and equally that London is huge, diverse and the different parts of it are nothing like each other.

Do you have a well written ad/site with good pictures, and plenty of advertising (not just Adultwork?) Every single one I turned down today mentioned AW when they contacted me, and every single one was turned down because he was either downright rude, thick as fuck or hadn't read a word of my profile page on there ::)

Like Amy, I'm also based in the City/Square Mile although I do outcalls across zone 1. I am low volume.

July was initially looking dead due to postponements, so had planned to just sit it out and conserve my energy for August and September as both months are already booked out. However, July suddenly got really busy, not only with regulars, but with new clients too, so have ended seeing almost double that I would usually see. (After a year where I have barely worked, this has been a godsend).

I don't use AW at all, all clients come via my website, and I have ads on a several London specific sites. Very few time wasters either, thankfully, but that might be more because I do not display my number.

Today was really great, and things have started to pick up! Hurrayy!!  I have turned down a few but some of them rearranged for other days.
I have updated my profiles and made some new ones, I am quite happy now ;D ;D

Oh that is good news!

I managed to jinx myself by posting the above yesterday, and literally everybody who has called today (bar one) has been a knob; the only other one who sounded remotely OK got all the way through the call and then decided to ask me whether I'd had 'a vaccine' and then to cap it all one of my otherwise good regulars rang at twenty past three to ask if I was free at half past (which I wasn't even if it hadn't been a fucking ridiculous request because I'd just cooked huevos rancheros :D).

I'm keeping the phone on for half an hour more and then I'm going out :).

I haven't had my AT at all since I've started but getting positive reviews from new and old regulars which is great! That seems to bring me business


Amy, yes I know, I had today a new one asking me if I will be available at 1.30pm and it was already 1.15.. so I had to say no. I don't like this short notice and plus I know they will never be in time and that will mess up everything..
