Is anyone else really getting very little in terms of clients?

I've had to give up my incall and now I'm working out of my own place, and even then I'm barely getting enough. So I've had to start walking my local area at night which hasn't traditionally been big on that sort of thing but I am at least getting something

Just how much longer can this go on?

I think once schools have re-opened there may be some modest step in the right direction.  Beyond that we would need retail to be open as well as the hospitality industry before some semblance of normality is restored.

I'm in central London and this is the quietest for me since lockdown started. At least I was getting-by-sort-off all this time, not since the last two weeks. I'm literally having one client a week. Can't wait for the march furlough.

I think the slowness at the moment is nationwide- spoken to a few girls and it’s the same complaints , fewer clients and a lot of timewasters.

I'm still getting on average 3 a day but I like 4 a day. But I stay in the same place and have built up regulars so it might be different for me.

Central London is particularly bad at the moment ,a lot of girls are moving into the Greater London area

I agree, with everyone and their mother working from home, retail closed and zero tourism central London is pretty bad, unless of course your target group is key workers and builders (not my case unfortunately  :()

Since beginning of this month it's been ridiculously quiet. Only seeing my regs at the min isn't helping I guess.
I'm getting enquiries from newbies but many have no feedback and plenty of us have seen the problems of trying to direct their testosterone fuelled brain to arrive at the right door and my nerves wouldn't stand it under present circumstances.
Only averaging about 2 clients a week  :(
Heard talk on tv this morning about not lifting restrictions regarding social distancing until the autumn! Please nooooo   :FF

My target group is anybody who passes my screening and a fair few don't, but I can't see what a punters occupation has to do with that? The majority I've seen in the last few months have been key workers of one sort or another (at least when they've mentioned it) and I can understand why it would be quiet if you're refusing to see such a massive group of people - mine range from teachers and social workers to legal professionals, civil servants, engineers and at least one firefighter. I rarely see tourists irrespective of the circumstances.

I like some of them more than others as you'd expect, but not because of how they earn their money. Are you actually asking callers what they do and refusing them, or is there something on your ads which is (deliberately or otherwise) putting them off? I only mention it because it seems a bit counterproductive to turn perfectly good business away and then complain that it's quiet - I'm not rushed off my feet but I'm fine on a couple a day (in fact I'm happy with that given that my neighbour is in all day atm) :).

Today is quiet for me and so far I've just seen a semi regular (my favourites), but hoping for one more. I'm ok ticking over ATM. I'm still turning idiots away and actually just got into a spat with someone wanting 15 mins which I don't do. I bit.

Step away from the stupid ;D

I tell them I have no problem at all with them leaving after fifteen minutes if they want to - I'm not going to hold them prisoner. But they're still paying for the half hour.

I screen everyone on the phone for safety reasons (like we should all do), I don't ask for their occupation because a)that would be quite intrusive and b) their occupation has nothing to do with my safety. Nice people come from all walks of life: from builders to CEO's (although I do find from personal experience that these last group tend to be on the self-entitled side of the spectrum), the problem is that I do attract a certain "niche" (usually the office, the city crowd and the tourists). Most probably it's the way I market myself or the wording on my site, my rates or god knows what, but it certainly has been an issue lately. Unfortunately for me I don't get the builders and the key workers (and I say "unfortunately" because I really like these guys) but... they don;t call me  :(

Pre-covid this was not a problem but with no tourism and everybody working from home my business has been hit more adversely than other ladies with a different business model. On the other hand I'm aware this pandemic has changed the economy, eg: my local bike store that was always empty nowadays has a long queu and have doubled their staff  whereas the super busy italian restaurant around the corner is now doing pizza deliveries and have had to downsize their staff to a third. We (the people on this forum) as independent businesses have been affected in very different ways. I was just trying to point out how in my case have been affected. No need for putting down people.

And yes, my amount of time wasters has sky rocketed. I believe that's something we all have in common here independently of our business model. ???
