Well I haven't been a girl for a very long time and if you looked at my AW page you'd think I never had any bookings because I don't use the stupid bloody online form (and this is equally true for most of the women I know who are busy - it's more time spent working for free when we have better things to do), but I get pretty much whatever bookings I want or don't want. I'm happy with fairly steady when I'm at home and then a few days in London every three weeks when I can do anything up to ten in a day althought the usual would be six or seven depending on booking length.
I think it's worth thinking about everything you offer/don't offer that would stop X number of people booking (so if you don't offer incalls, don't advertise a phone number, only work very limited hours, charge very high rates, discriminate against some demographics of punter or have very limited services then all of these will cost you bookings although some will also generate some) and decide whether you want to try and change any of them? I won't offer reverse oral or OWO regardless of whether it means missing out (and the lack of OWO gets me bookings from punters who don't want to see someone who does it) but I will occasionally stay late or go in early if a punter wants to book and it suits me to do so.
If you're finding you're not getting the calls to start with then it's at least in part your advertising - if you only advertise on AW it's going to be hopeless (and I would starve if I did
) rather than you; maybe spend some of the time spent hanging about on marketing, blogging, taking new/different types of pictures? Get on as many directories as you can and even with AW you can rewrite your profile.text if it isn't doing the job?
Casual sex has existed for as long as people have and certainly as long as prostitution. Some people do one or the other, others do both or neither and there's no more reason to think it'll mean the end of the sex industry than there was fifty or a hundred years ago
