Had a great August but this week the only people calling or txting are ones who have wasted my time or pushed my boundaries previously   

Today has been the slowest day I have ever had from starting out. I had more calls and bookings yesterday on bank holiday. I honestly thought adultwork was down or something wrong with my phone. Really disappointing.

I am glad it is not just me affected. I was working from March to mid-April and business was great. Although the amount of calls died down steadily as more and more I lost my 'new girl on the block' status I still did well:

Mid-April to June I was not working yet when I returned in July it was tumbleweeds! As if the bottom had fallen out of the market or even worse - I was crap a what I do! That's when I started touring and was one again in demand as a new kid in town. At first I assumed it was the heatwave, then the World Cup, and then when it was still dead after the footy had finished, I assumed it was the summer hols with the family time. It's slowly picked up - and I mean slowly (1-3 calls a day and 1 client a day) but it still has me nervous. Especially as there's a glut of increased action around here - the market is getting oversaturated.

Got 2 hours this afternoon with a reg. Already had 3 long bookings this week, so I'm a very happy bunny cos last week was fab as well

Yep when you are new to a area first month or 2 a lot of demand you have no problem doing 5 a day everyday but it does tail off to 1 to 3 a day or none if quiet even if you have regulars they will not usually build it up enough to be like it was at the start. To make more decent amount you need to tour other areas but that in itself can take you away from home and you need to be commitment free back home to concentrate on touring.

My phone has been all but dead for sooo long. i wish regular touring was an option for me.

quick question to those watching this thread - regarding adultwork Local Escort Search, do you guys have it on the days you aren't working? I always do it for days I'm available but I'm wondering if it might be worth it to do it on other days, as those guys might end up booking for another day? I can't afford to throw money away though so would be great to know if this works for people.

Today has been a joke so far.
Have had a client messaging me on AW claiming to be a regular ( but from a long time ago)  asking if he can still come twice in a 30 minute booking.....never offered that in a 30 min so I asked who he was if he was such a regular....still waiting for the reply.

Now despite specifying I prefer a call from a new client everyone is texting and very basic comms too not saying what time or how long. Also lots of short notice requests which unless they are literally outside my door there is no way I can see them.

I hate it when the day drags on like this as I get into a mood where I can’t be arsed anymore.
Hoping a couple of nice regulars come along and save the day lol

Off to a area I have done well in the couple of times I have been there and already have two guys I have seen on previous visits book so I know I am already in profit especially as I am seeing a lovely regular before I leave tomorrow.
