Hi everyone. I was just wondering if anyone else has suddenly gone really quiet after the kids broke up for the summer holidays? It’s super quiet here. My phone has barley rang and when it has it’s been time wasters. It’s literally just happened since the summer holidays kicked in. Xx

I had a guy call the other day asking for 15min which ordinarily I don’t offer but with it being quiet I figured I’d go for it. Had a blast, popped 15min rate on my profile and they helped keep me ticking over in between cancellations and TW.

Common theme was that they were fathers with very little free time over the holidays but 15min scratched the itch. Didn’t have a single one try to overstay their welcome and I had a blast. Definitely keeping them on.

  this is a time I need it to pick up.. though I’m preparing myself mentally for it to be like this all the way through till September. I’ve notice a huge reduction in the women available in the area who usually are available most days. I’m guessing it’s because of the summer holidays being so quiet. It’s unbelievable how quiet it’s been. All I’ve had is a 20 year old chef dining me again and again. I’ve ignored his calls. The last time I spoke to him he asked me to be his girlfriend. Really??! He told me he can’t afford to pay me 

I never used to offer 15 mins because I thought they'd be guys that wanted 30 mins but were being cheap and would overstay. That would piss me off. But the 15 min ones I get are okay, I charge £20 less than my half hour so still appealing but totally worth it for me. As long as they are quick to cum then I like 15 min bookings, over in a flash really. I do move it along if they are being slow and reiterate it is just a quickie and they are fine with it. Most still choose a half hour but tbh I would be happy with more 15 mins, a better earner per minute!

I do also get the half hour ones that are done in 20 minutes, I like these too!

I think if i offered the 15 mins there would be more punters coming through the door and would bring more notice plus i think more risks so i think years ago i used to do loads per day but now i prefer less but more money each one but i get if they are done very quick then it can benefit and i suppose also quiet period when times are harder a cheaper price can help things ticking over for ones that cannot afford the 30 mins or a hour.

More likely because their kids are off school and they don't have anybody to help with childcare (or even if they do they might want to spend some time with them ).

Haha that's class! I'm quite happy to say I'm greedy, I do this for the money. I enjoy the work mostly and I love the freedom & flexibility but it's all about the money for me. Although having said that, it's lovely to have nice things but most of all I value the peace of mind of being able to pay my bills, my mortgage and be able to save and treat myself. We all do this for our own reasons whatever they might be.

Back on track, today I had possibly the fewest calls in a day I've ever had while working. Just tumbleweed but I did score 3 bookings, quite impressed since I only spoke to five people. So it seems that although genuine enquiries were low, the TW's are also on holiday!

 

Has anyone else noticed that the school holidays are a quiet time? Im beginning to wonder where all the genuine men have gone? I have a surge of TW since it went quiet. I had one asking me for my snap chat details to verify me..

I have noticed the first two weeks of school holidays is fairly dead then it picks up again.

Not everybody has young children.  People have to hold down jobs and the world still turns.  It is just people go away.
