Site downtime

Unfortunately we suffered a large downtime today, due in part somebody trying to hammer the site and overload things. In these instances the site closes to prevent further problems, unfortunately as its the holidays, I wasn't able to deal as soon as I would like.

In future if the site goes down, I will get a notice and ETA of restore time on the main site at www.saafe.info

When I attempted to load the forum it immediately asked for loggin details. Was worried it was someone gathering (hacking) account details. Or is that what happen when you take down the site?

We'll stick with the main SAAFE site, which has been live throughout and where everybody can (and did) also find the SAAFE email address :).

As is hopefully becoming clear there's been a lot of work going on behind the scenes over almost twenty four hours and almost all of it by Janitor, since she's the techy one. So thanks to her from me too. To the people who decided to phone and text me to ask about it, it was lovely talking to you but with a bit of luck it's now plain that I'm not in fact solely responsible for everything that happens here and everybody else works very hard to do their bit.
