Lubes for hand jobs
« on: 31 August 2024, 01:19:21 pm »
Hi ladies,

Sorry to start another thread on lubes - but I have searched here and all the discussions seem to be about lube for penetrative sex. I don't offer penetration anymore but I use lube for HJs.

For penetrative sex my go to lube was silicone and still is for personal life but I find that this is too messy for HJ work and clients don't like it and often insist on a shower afterwards which is a pain. I also don't like the feeling on my hands which wont wash off. Clients have also remarked that it stains their undies if they don't shower at mine. I hate clients using my shower.

The water based ones I have tried just dry out and go sticky...... again making clients want to shower.

Al long time ago, I used KY Jelly which was good but smelt medical. I can't find that now and the KY non jelly variaety stuff in Boots and supermarkets is not the same now.... just runny and quick to dry.

I have looked on line and there are loads of expensive water based options but I cant afford to just buy to try. They have crazy prices. Years ago I did use a durex one that came in a tiny bottle (Sensol or Sensitol?) that was like my natural wetness and did not go sticky - can't find that now either

Any recommendations - oh it must also be fragrance free and non staining. I can't find anything online to giude me to the best stuff for HJ work

ID Glide or Liquid Silk.

Both are very slippy but wash off easily and without the issues of silicone lube.

If you are having a problem with water-based lube drying out, keep a water spray close to hand...

I agree with Liquid Silk - it doesn't stain, washes off and lasts reasonably well. As Ian says, keep some warm water in a plant mister spray if you're finding it doesn't last long enough :)

I’ve always used Liquid Silk. It’s brilliant! Not cheap though.
I tried a similar one called Lubido but it was sticky and tacky. It ended up in the bin.

Hand jobs only you might want to consider "vegetable oil" specifically grapeseed oil - which you can buy in any supermarket.

Grapeseed oil is not small, unlike other vegetable oils, and it is the typical base for "massage oils." You only need a tiny bit of it, and I find it does a good job. Decant it into a nice-looking hand pump bottle.

As a masseuse, I use grapeseed oil but buy it in vast quantities for my business.

I think you can buy it in Holland and Barrett too, it's the same as the supermarket cooking oil, just lots of different types of packaging.

If there's no penetration (and therefore no risk of condom breaking) I generally use coconut oil or one from amazon called Knotty but Nice

Got the Liquid Silk based on rocomendations here.

Used it for the first time today and it works well........ thanks for the advice.

It is slightly oily but not an oil as such. Washes off dead easy and hardly dries out

Thanks for everyones advice I really appreciate it. It feels like there is a supportive community here and it makes me feel positive
