Amy, yes I'm in the West part of London but still very Central (West Central London) and I work from a very popular area for WGs (also probably the busiest area of West Central London in terms of liveliness). Quite complicated for me now to change area though since I've just started a new tenancy contract  :(
Concerning the profiles where I advertise, AW currently brings me all my business, I've tried to advertise on a few other websites for a couple of months but none of them brought me any actual bookings (just more time wasters), hence I decided to delete my profile on these as it was pointless.

I wanted to advertise on London Escort guide but it seems that a personal website is required (unless they accept AW links maybe ?). Good idea Massage Republic, never thought about it but I know it's quite popular and about P411, I think you need to get a review/reference to be approved, no ?

Yes P411 is more difficult to get onto now, I think - I've been on it for over ten years and mainly because I was working in New York at the time. Massage Republic definitely (and I don't even offer massage so it isn't a requirement :D). Etiher way relying on one site is never going to be helpful - what happens if/when your ad gets dumped or that site goes down (and neither of those events are particularly unusual?)

If an area is 'popular' as a prossie zone it can be because there's a lot of punters there, but it doesn't necessarily follow that those punters will be ones that you'll want or that will want you. West Central (Kensington, Earls Court and so on) always used to be agency country where just calling and ordeting like you would a pizza was the norm, and that doesn't lend itself well to people who want to do more thorough screening and aren't available at the drop of a hat.

I think you've answered your own question at least partly - you need a website, if for no reason other than that it gives you the option to get on lots of other websites :)

Ana - you can’t use a link to your AW profile to the sites you mention because AW is an advertising platform (and not your own personal website). I think Massage Republic is a great suggestion, you don’t need a website for it either.

Instead of chopping and changing how you present yourself online, look at it as a constant work in process of you building and defining your brand. Any changes are all about honing your profile rather than reinvention. Personally, or at least in my experience, men like stability, but at the same times, tweaking one’s web presence is about keeping them intrigued and interested - I am sure many have you hot-listed and have yet to indulge, as well as those who have yet to find you.

One thing I will suggest that if you use words like ‘perfect’ as in you offer the perfect GFE, maybe don’t, because everyone’s idea of perfection is different. Additionally, you’re just setting an impossible standard for yourself, and also for potential clients as it suggests that maybe your GFE (or what ever services you offer) are rehearsed and not so personal after all. Remember, it is all about exceeding expectations rather than trying to live up to them.

Thanks very much Miffy for your advice, I'll take this into consideration  ;)

Thanks Amy, yes I definitely need to diversify myself ! True, I'll definitely have a look at building my own website and as you said, having a website can allow to get on many other websites  :)

Just to add another vote for getting your own website. I remember when I finally bit the bullet and made one, so many clients appeared out of the woodwork, all admitting that they’d looked at my ads for ages but weren’t sure about booking, and it was my website that sealed the deal for them and made them get in touch. My website paid for itself within a few hours of launching!

Did you use professional photos taken by a photographer?

All the lovely clients have been since I started back up but all I'm getting is the  huge volume of time wasters now .
I don't even know how to go about building my own website wondering if I'd benifit as I'm not working daily.

I don't really understand how to make a web page.  But I see a need to have one of my own.
That’s why I did one for myself on wix a year ago. I also managed to put a link to my adult work profile in it.  So now adult work has allowed me to advertise my own website on my aw profile page.  It helps my job a lot.  I didn’t get much bookings from my own website, but it increases customer interest.  I also have a Twitter page where I upload my current stuff and tours.  So with a combination of my adult work profil, my own web page, plus twitter, I can maintain an effective marketing that always results give me  couple new clients on my tours also.

What I will say about Twitter is be very careful on what you put on there regarding Tours & Escorting, my profile of 6 years has been permanently removed because I was mentioning escorting in tweets

Miffy, did you build the website yourself or did you pay a web designer to do it for you?

That's good, I didn't know it was allowed to put a link to your own personal website on AW.
yes, I know Twitter can be a really good advertisement platform too however I'm personally not so much of a social media girl so not sure if it would suit me. I think the key with social media is to remain consistent and upload regularly.

AW will allow you to link to your own website providing you link back to them, it just appears at the bottom of your AW profile

If you are doing well without the added aspect of SM then I wouldn't entertain joining, I lost my 12K account on twitter earlier in the year, I made a new account but tbh I am not missing it & I don't feel like I am missing out on clients either (The only guys I got asking for meets through twitter turned out to be timewasters)

God no, am not paying anyone for anything I can do myself!  My current website was built using Squarespace (which guides you through the process, so even a complete novice can make a website). However, I did inject some of my own code. Am currently working on a new website, one I have entirely coded myself.

I used the framework of one of my ads to inform the copy, and took a few months planning it. During this time I must have looked at hundreds of escort websites, both in the UK and the US, which enabled me to have a really broad overview of websites at all price ranges, and also to work out what I wanted from my own website in terms of pages and what information I wanted to provide. That said, I had a very clear idea at the outset of how I wanted it to look, what I want it to say and how I wanted it to be navigated.

The best thing about having one’s own website is that you are firmly in control of everything. There are no rules and you are free to do things completely your way. A website should attract the clients you want and repel those you do not want. This is particularly true of which directories you decide to use. Some pick every single directory possible, especially as those who only ask you to display their banner are often free. Personally, I do not think appearing in every directory going is necessarily a good thing, and doesn’t actually bring in more clients. And besides, isn’t it about getting good clients rather than a steady stream of ones you do not want? I also do not use social media as I just do not see its value. It is also rather at odds as to how I advertise myself anyway. I have never regretted my lack of social media presence, not least because clients feel that they’re engaging with someone who does not court attention.

Anyway, this is veering off topic! All that is left to say is good luck with the website dear Ana, you will wonder why it took you so long to make one!
