Gee, what an episode last night! I know we 'arent supposed' to let it happen, but you can see how something like that (it was the 4th time this week) can throw your mood off!
Anyway, the good news is atleast now there's some insight into what might of went wrong. Today I had a booking with someone who, after we spoke earlier about meeting...2 hours later he said he was afraid that I might of been the police! I've been asked this before, but this person insisted that I was law enforcement about to run a sting. The guy was so nervous that he would not give me his phone number or room number! rather he wanted me to meet him in the lobby! The conversation was via Instant Message. I told him I would not go to the Hilton without any way to verify he was even there. It just so happened another client of mine had Imed me in the middle of this. So, I tell my client what was going on and asked him if he could tell this person that we have met before. Well, he did and from there I was given the room number and phone number. Piece of cake, but what a hassle!
This made sense because the prospect from last night who confirmed, but didnt go through had asked me the day before if I was with the law. I told him "no way". And often times thats all it takes (and Im wearing nothing but a thong in my pic, HELLO!). My guess is maybe there was some un-asked questions and he got nervous. But I dont come off threatning. If they want to ask me something, I let them know.
So in a situation like this, what if someone thinks Im a cop?
