Title: Sensual/tantric massage thread.
Post by: ana30 on 06 July 2011, 12:20:28 am
Hi,

I just wanted to create a thread for the erotic bodywork practitioners who offer massage with a happy ending but no escort services. I've noticed there's a few of us here and would be nice to share certain issues, questions and problems. I've tried to search for "erotic massage forums" on the web but the only ones I found were for guys reviewing masseuses. Discussions between us (the women) regarding  our work problems were not really welcome. I was even told in one of those forums by some of the members that If I was not willing to "identify myself" and let other members discuss the size of my breasts I was not welcome . Because this is  an "escort oriented" forum sometimes I feel a bit cohibited to discuss  issues regarding  massage. I thought creating a thread might be a good idea (potentially maybe it could lead to it's own "baby forum, who knows?)

 Thanks!  :)

So I have a question  regarding oils. I  spend way too much money on oils as I refuse to use baby oil. I know it's the cheapest option but it's too thin, slippery, very messy, greasy and the guy ends up soaked in it. I tend to make my own aromatheraphy oils or buy the grape seed lavender one sin the local store. Problems is they're expensive (specially when you to thru 15 bottles per month). I've tried to order them thru the internet (they're much cheaper) but I got scammed and had to change my debit card (and this was ebay!).

Does any body know of any reputed website UK based? Were do you guys normally get them from? thanx.

I use almond oil.  I used to use grapeseed but I didn't like the smell.  I buy the almond oil from indian/turkish/pakistani groceries, it's about ?2.50 for a BIG bottle.  I have also bought on eBay.

I once got a nutter who spent the hour trying to convince me that he was  a (straight) male escort.

Hiya Lou!

I'll check out the Palmers body oil (haven't heard about it). Thanx 4 the tip.

Regarding "pushing masseuses" boundaries that deserves it own thread lol.. When I started in this I had topless pics on my website and had a few problems with guys pushing my boundaries (despite the fact it stated in big thick letters I didn't offer full, oral, kissing etc..). Then I removed those topless pics and posted photos of me in a nice dress and it was like magic. All of a sudden my type of clients changed, I stopped dealing with bull---t and got the guys who were interest in a less sexual service and more a genuine massage with HR. So maybe there's something on your site that is attracting the "wrong kind" for you. maybe you should include a small FAQ section explaining your boundaries. I know a couple of masseuses who say on their site that they only allow light touching and any below their waist will result in the termination of the session (no money back) and business wise they do really well. So don't be afraid of "enforcing" your boundaries.

Regarding the guy you just described... what a nightmare. good riddance!  I mean do you go  into a Patisserie and demand a Full roast dinner?

 ;D

I once had a guy trying to convince me all the session that he was Rod Stewart and that If  I gave him a BJ he would put me in one of his videos (and he was definately NOT Rod) lol..

I have a few Qs...

What's the going rate for erotic massage (in London), please?

Is half an hour sufficient? (the beauty place near me does a full hour for ?30 - they have the usual "don't ask for sexual services" disclaimer, but I know for a fact that some of the staff give happy endings! So ?30 for an hour's rub and tug - seems too cheap to me!)

Do you have to be trained, or will an experienced amateur suffice? (I think I mean: will guys be willing to pay more if you are qualified, or don't they care as long as they're getting their willies played with?)

If you just do massage (with no kissing, oral, penetration etc), what STI precautions and checks do you need?

I'm sure I had more questions, but it's too early for me to think properly...

Massage with HR (no extras) in London is anything between 60P to 250P an hour. It will depend on your beauty, skills,  qualifications and if you take your clothes off or not. The most inexpensive service is offered by the Chinese ladys in the parlours and the most expensive by the "so called" upscaled agencies whose girls are a no older than 25 (these girls are not certified, just the very pretty student or model types looking to make some extra bucks). But the rest of the masseuses  who are neither out-of-the-boat Chinese women or 21 y.old Victoria Secret model types we're some place between that price ratio.

(Please don't misinterpretate me when I say "out-of-the-boat" chinese woman as I would hate to sound condescending.  They came here  looking for a better life and running away from a horrible political system. A lot of them have real qualifications from their home countries and give very good good pressure point massage being their biggest "handicap" that they don't speak the language which makes them extremely vulnerable  to explotation and working for  very "sketchy types".

I know very few masseuses who offer half an hour (me included) , but this is very common in the asian massage parlours or in the more inexpensive side of the spectrum. Nothing wrong with half an hours but generally these guys are "not" that interested in a massage but more in a quick wank.

You don't "need to" have qualifications when you start but you do need some sort of  training  in order to give a  decent massage. Yes, guys will pay more (and take you seriously and push your boundaries  less) if you have qualifications and know how to give a proper massage. Keep in mind that these clients are the "massage lovers crowd" who tend to get a lot of "straight" massages from real professionals and they can tell if the person working their back knows what is doing. Eventually the non-certified sensual masseuse who decides to stay on the business for the long run and make a career out of it will get her certifications at some point (thus expanding her market to the non-sensual crowd).  In Europe you can get away with doing both sensual and non-sensual but in the US you will loose your license (plus get arrested).

(For sensual massage I do recommend courses in Swedish, deep tissue and reiki  as these are basically the techniques you'll be using)

A couple of doctors have told me that you can catch genital herpes (the simplex type) just by manipulating peoples genitals as it transfered thru skin contact. In my case I use anti-bacterial gel and soap (the ones surgeons use)  after giving a massage but I'm not sure that protects me against anything. I've known of a few masseuses who wear latex gloves during the "sensual part" problem is that most clients don't like it.

When I am a client for massage I never let the masseur use their own oils on me. Mainstream oils are usually made of mineral oil which is derived from petrol, along with other harmful chemicals. Baby oil is one of the worst of the lot. I will never accept these on/in my body from anyone, so I always provide my own organic cold-pressed oils when I go for a massage. Extra-virgin olive oil works just well, but you or the client might not like the food-like smell. Coconut oil is my favorite along with cocoa butter which melts into a runny oil at skin temperature. I buy them and others from Akoma cooperative (http://akomaskincare.co.uk/) which has very reasonable prices and also Fairtrade policies for many of the items sold. Akoma sells a wide variety of cold-pressed oils.

Akoma cooperative? Thanks very much Alex. I also refuse to use industrial oils in me and my clients and that's why I'm going bankrupt lol...

Loulou, I don't know your age but I'm assuming you're young. For some reason guys tend to think that they can get away with rude and bad behaviour with the young masseuses. When I was younger guys tend to push my boundaries much more but as I've aged (I'm in my early 30's now) I don't get a third of the bull---t (maybe it's because I'm not that appealing to them anymore lol!) Yes, they do tend to respect you more when you're more mature (and exhibit a no bull---t attitude) so "youth" can work both as an advantage and a disadvantage. As far as vivastreet goes I stopped advertising there because I got too many TW and when finally I got someone  the quality of the clients was not good (they were rude or/and cheap types).  Try nmduk massage, massage the UK , UK classifieds and megaadverts therapeutic section,  they are decent sites.

Thanks for all the advice, I'm certainly going to add this as a service and try some test prices :) If all goes well, I will probably go for a few short courses to get some small qualifications. I'll see how it goes first.

I know what you mean - it was Chinese ladies that I was talking about in my post (?30 an hour for Swedish) - they have 3 parlours in my area (same company), all doing very cheap beauty treatments and therapy. One place near me (not a Chinese one) quoted ?7 for eyebrow waxing, got it for ?3 in one of the Chinese parlours. They seem to do very well though, and Pnet members have been pleased with their 'extras'.

These chinese parlours are an incredibly inexpensive option (like all things Chinese!) but you got to be careful. First of all the higiene is awful in a lot of these so called  "Herbal stores" or parlours ( if you don't mind the smell of cooked rice in the next room, the cracking paint in the wall and the mold in the bathroom you're fine). Second: some of these ladies know what they're doing and some don't, so it's a hit or miss (I was even hurt by one of them since that I won't let them massage my neck and cervical area). The Chinese are known for being money oriented and their lack of ethics so you gotta watch out. I also remember leaving a place after a massage and having some body builder tattooed chinese guy grabbing me by my jacket and demanding I leave a tip to the masseuse (scary). Truth is unless I'm broke I'd rather choose a more professional setting.

I'm 24 but have been working since I was 20 so I should be able to assert boundaries properly by now lol. To be honest, I think it's more the men remaining pushy rather than me not being assertive - I definitely give off the correct body language. Also it could be my reluctance to "spoil the moment" a little, but I need to keep remembering that if I have specified "no touching (ie groping)" and they do so then they have broken the 'contract' not me, spoiled the moment for their own selves, and I shouldn't worry about them not wntig to come back, because they are not the sort of client I would have wanted anyways. x

This post jumped at me a little because it's how I sometimes feel too but obviously as a 'full' service provider.

Hi all,

Does anyone have experience with these very upscaled tantric massage agencies in the city: carezz---, the little white jewels that come out of oysters (lol) etc.... They charge an incredible amount of money for a massage but I'm not sure what percentage is left for the masseuse and if they'll keep you busy enough. Any feedback anyone?

thanx!

Since someone was asking about ordering online, White Rose (http://www.whiteroseoils.co.uk) is a shop I've ordered from without problems. I don't know if they're be cheaper than the ethnic shop almond oil, but they have a lot of essential oils and a wholesale site which is pretty cheap if you want a lot of stuff.

I'm qualified in Swedish, Aromatherapy and Thai massage and use good quality products from the following suppliers: Eve Taylor, Kobashi & Absolute Aromas.  But if you run out of carrier oil, and need a quick suppy then buy Grapeseed Oil from the supermarket.  As long as it is plain Grapeseed and doesn't have exotic additions such as Chilli etc then it is perfectly safe to use on the body for massage.  Don't forget you really should be checking for allergies with clients, many people have a nut allergy so Sweet Almond Oil may be ok for some clients but not others.

You can always decanter it into a small pump bottle or something pretty.  I always pour enough oil into a bowl and warm it by dipping my hand in then transferring to the hand which is in contact with the client.  Otherwise a double bowl with warm water, or a wax heater with a cut down container in all work really well.  Hope that helps.

I work for one (not the ones you've mentioned).  The amount of work they get me varies.  I couldn't live on that alone, I'd say they get me about 2 bookings a week - it depends which receptionist is working!  They take 40%, sometimes more (they round it up  >:()
The clients are mainly Arabs - probably 2 out of 3, the rest are American, British, Indian.  Usually fancy hotels, which is quite fun, although sometimes residences.  The work is almost always late at night - I've had a couple of bookings at 7 or 8 pm but most are between 10pm and 2am.

I've heard some odd things about 'the one that you get 40 of when you're tired' and 'little white jewels' and my agency told me they didn't mind me doing indie work or working for another agency so long as it wasn't either of these.
'fruit like an apricot but bigger' pleasures are apparently not just a massage agency, I've heard that their girls are escorts as well
Maj***** told me that they couldn't take me on because I worked for another agency and they want all their masseuses to be exclusive to them

thanx for the info evie. I love the poetic phrases you use to describe the agencies. Very informative. I was guessing most of these guys were arab because the prices are really really high.

Hi there

I have a variety of oils, depending on the clients skin and condition, I prefer to use Almond oil as i feel it has a better consistency but i always check if the client is allergic to nuts, if so then i use grapeseed oil and i buy my oils from Sally's beauty wholesalers or Dennis Williams works out cheaper as i buy in 4ltr bottles.

I charge ?80 for one hour massage and i am as busy as i want to be.

Have a look around your area and see what the going rate is.

Hello, I have just come across this thread and wanted to add my own post as I have experimented with different oils over the years:

baby oil- I have used this in the past only in emergencies if I take an out call appointment unexpectedly and can't get anything else right that moment. I have never had anyone complain of a bad reaction yet, but the smell is pretty strong and horrible!  Now if I am out and about with no oil and have to run off to do a massage, I just buy olive oil from any supermarket/corner-shop as at least it is natural and great for the skin, even if the aroma makes me salivate while wishing for some tomatoes and mozzarella. And before you ask, no clients have never complained about the smell of olive oil as most men have a weaker sense of smell than women.

almond oil: a great rich oil which I have used for a long time for out calls. I always buy it online 10Litre at the time as that is cheaper. Have not really shopped around but used this company who have always been friendly and reliable: http://www.idaromatics.co.uk/ (http://www.idaromatics.co.uk/)

grapeseed oil: for out calls to hotels I now use grapeseed oil from Waitrose as it is cheap and still reasonably rich (not as smooth and rich as almond oil though) and the smell is not too strong. As I have a Wairose close to my home it saves me having to go through the process of ordering online and I can buy little bottles of 500mil at the time so top up my supply every week or so.

Non stain oil: although very expensive this is the ONLY thing I now use for in-calls as it is much easier wash out of towels/sheets/hairy backs! I am not sure if it is completely natural of partly mineral, but no one has ever complained of a reaction to this oil. Also, it is very light and clients love the fact that it is so easy to wash off. I also take this oil if I do an out call to a clients home to make sure he will not be struggling to get any oil stains on his bedding/towel out in a warm wash. Here is the link the the supplier and product page:

http://www.massagewarehouse.co.uk/items/massage-supplies/oils~creams~lotions/water-dispersible-massage-oil-detail.htm

P.S. I am a first time poster so am not completely sure if I can just post the links of the websites here, so please let me know if I am breaking any forum rules!
