Actually it isn't, it's your friends opinion of how and why her market has changed which is not the same thing. And her frame of reference sounds narrow, to say the least .

The idea that short/quickie bookings as well as low rates never existed before AW is about as bizarre as the idea that good/bad punters are a new thing. Does your friend not know about parlours and working flats, walkups, street prostitution? If her clients aren't treating her well then that's down to her screening - blaming other women and how/where they advertise (and you can tell her I don't have a professional website or pictures and I have virtually no problems with unpleasant punters ever) is not the way forward.
